ECOLOGICO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2012 - V Edizione

Festival del Cinema sul rapporto dell'uomo con l'ambiente e la società Il concorso è strutturato in due sezioni: autori e scuole

Possono partecipare al concorso i film o video (Documentario,Fiction, Animazione) sui seguenti temi:
- Ambiente (Film che abbiano come argomento la Natura, il Paesaggio, l'Energie rinnovabili, la Città, ecc.).
- Società (Film che abbiano come argomento la Cultura, l'Economia, i Valori Umani, lo Sfruttamento, ecc.)
- Diversità (Film che abbiano come argomento il Razzismo, la Povertà, il Disagio Psichico e Sociale, l'Integrazione, ecc.)
- Confini (Film che abbiano come argomento il rapporto fra culture, la convivenza fra popoli/religioni/etnie diverse, la guerra, ecc.).
-Nardò Cinema (Film legati al territorio salentino ispirati alle storie e ai luoghi del territorio neretino)

Sezioni:
- Sezione Cortometraggio (max. 15 minuti);
- Sezione Mediometraggio (tra i 16 e i 50 minuti);
- Sezione Lungometraggio (oltre i 51 minuti);

Premi per la categoria Autori:
- I classificato sezione Lungometraggio: euro 1500 + Mer Khamis per il miglior Lungometraggio
- I classificato sezione Mediometraggio: euro 1000 + Mer Khamis per il miglior Mediometraggio
- I classificato sezione Cortometraggio: euro 500 + Mer Khamis per il miglior Cortometraggio
- I classificato sezione Ambiente : Mer Khamis per il miglior film sull'Ambiente
- I classificato sezione Società : Mer Khamis per il miglior film sulla Società
- I classificato sezione Diversità: Mer Khamis per il miglior film sulla Diversità
- I classificato sezione Confini: Mer Khamis per il miglior film sui Confini
- I classificato sezione Nardò Cinema: Mer Khamis per il miglior film su Nardò

Premi per la categoria Scuole
classificati nelle sezioni:
- I classificato sezione Scuola primaria: Mer Khamis per il miglior film delle Sc. Primarie
- I classificato sezione Scuola secondaria di primo grado: Mer Khamis per il miglior film delle Sc. Medie
- I classificato sezione Scuola secondaria di secondo grado: Mer Khamis per il miglior film delle Sc. Secondarie

Il Festival si svolgerà nel Salento presso il Comune di Nardò, Cerrate, Ostuni e Cisternino nel mese di agosto 2012 (programma in corso di definizione sul sito: www.eiff.it)

ECOLOGICO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL 2012 V Edition

Festival of the Cinema about the man's relationship with the environment and the society

The competition will be divided into two sections; authors and schools

Participants may present film or video (Documentary or Fiction) which has reference to the following themes;
- Ecology (films about nature, landscape, renewable energy, the city, etc.).
- Contemporary society (films about the culture, economics, humanity and its values, exploitation, war, etc..)
- Difference (films about the racism, poverty, mental illness, social integration, etc.)
- Borders (films about the relationship between different cultures, the coexistence of peoples/religions/ethnic groups, war, etc.))

Nardo Cinema (Film related to Salento inspired by the stories and places of Nardò territory's)

Length;
- Short length (max.15 min)
- Medium length (between 16 and 50 minutes )
- Longer length film (more than 51 minutes)

Awards for the category Authors:
- 1st Prize in the Long Length Film section; euro 1500 + Mer Khamis for Best Feature Film
- 1st prize in the Medium length film section; euro 1000 + Mer Khamis for the best medium-length Film
- 1st prize in the Short Film section; euro 500 + Mer Khamis for Best Short Film
- 1st prize for the best film about Ecology; Mer Khamis for Best Film on Environment
- 1st prize for the best film about Contemporary society; Mer Khamis for Best Film on Contemporary society
- 1st prize for the best film about Difference; Mer Khamis for Best Film on Difference
- 1st prize for the best film about Borders; Mer Khamis for Best Film on Borders
- 1st prize for the best film about Nardò Cinema; Mer Khamis for Best Film on Nardò Cinema

Awards for the schools
will be presented for the winners in the following categories;
- First prize of the Primary School category; Mer Khamis for Best Picture of Primary Schools
- First prize of the Middle School category; Mer Khamis for Best Picture of Middle Schools
- First prize of the Secondary School category; Mer Khamis for Best Picture of Secondary Schools

The Festival will take part in Salento in the town of Nardò, Cerrate, Ostuni and Cisternino on the month of august 2012 (www.eiff.it).

Those intending to take part must enrol in the competition on or before the 30th april 2012
