Arezzo sarà capofila del progetto Educom, una progettualità che punta a rafforzare e potenziare i patti educativi di comunità come strumenti decisivi di coesione sociale e di forte ricucitura delle cosiddette “fratture di sapere” che la pandemia ha notevolmente evidenziato. “Da tempo, anche prima del covid, una delle linee politiche più caratterizzanti la Giunta Ghinelli è stata quella di considerare la cultura una leva di inclusione e la formazione un diritto di cittadinanza e di mettere al centro il tema della ricchezza educativa come elemento diffuso di cittadinanza attiva puntando a tenere insieme il territorio animandolo di opportunità che facciano fronte alle marginalità e siano occasioni per ragazzi e famiglie”, commenta il vice sindaco Lucia Tanti. “Le scuole, da noi a disposizione gratuita delle associazioni, sono diventate sempre più “punti luce” e presidio civico e formativo. Abbiamo poi individuato il quartiere di Saione come luogo sperimentale di una comunità forte e coesa che mette a sistema le istituzioni, le associazioni, le scuole, le categorie economiche, i volontari, i singoli cittadini. Oggi Saione è diventato per noi il “Quartiere sfida” che ha saputo, grazie all’impegno di tutti, ritrovare forza e diventare modello di comunità. Arezzo quindi, insieme al contributo di Oxfam, guida una progettualità europea che ci unisce a Rzeszow Regional Development Agency (Polonia), Podlkarpackie Region (Polonia), Saukrasti Region Council (Lettonia), Università della Lettonia e la belga Leaders International”, continua il vice sindaco.
Il progetto punta al complessivo finanziamento di circa 290mila euro che sarà funzionale a rafforzare e potenziare tutte le progettualità che già la nostra Città ha messo in essere.
“Ormai da anni Arezzo è una città di sperimentazioni educative, di progetti di inclusione sociale, di scuole-aperte, di doposcuola diffusi, di progetti culturali plurali e continui, di forte innovazione sociale ma non solo: siamo anche la città che, con il sistema della Fondazioni, ha messo in campo strumenti nuovi di sapere ed in particolare con la Fondazione Arezzo Comunità ha inventato una piattaforma di coesione sociale e di alleanza forte per dare sostanza ad un welfare generativo. Cercheremo di sfruttare al meglio questa opportunità non solo per le risorse che sono a disposizione ma anche di portare in Europa le esperienze di innovazione sociale costruite ad Arezzo puntando sul “modello Saione”, da criticità ad opportunità, e raccontando lo strumento Fondazione Arezzo Comunità per mettere a confronto con altre realtà la nostra risposta verso un novo modello di comunità che vogliamo identitario ma accogliente e che proprio per questo si vuole aprire sempre più ad una prospettiva europea che si fondi sui municipi e sulle comunità locali”, conclude il vice
