Città di Castello – Estate in città 2022 non va in ferie e propone musica e cinema nell’ultimo fine settimana di luglio: Iniziative per chi rimarrà in città che valorizzano sia gruppi affermati che giovani talenti della musica e delle arti espressive.
Sabato 30 luglio Estate in città ospita Benny Blanco la cui musica parla tanti linguaggi e che per la prima volta si esibirà nella sua città. Un evento ed un piacere per l’amministrazione comunale di Città di Castello, che ricorda anche la rassegna cinematografica di Nuovo Cinema Castello nel Cortile di Santa Cecilia e l’appuntamento di Petrelle, giovedì 28 luglio, con Cdcinema e a Trestina venerdì 29. Venerdì 29 luglio, alle 21.00 in Piazza delle Tabacchine i ragazzi di Movimento Fermo propone Bulo, performance multidisciplinare. Un progetto innovativo, che abbraccia tutte le arti: dalla musica, alla danza, alla fotografia, fino all’arte dei tatuaggi. Poco lontano Pinacoteca al chiaro di Luna, apertura notturna del museo alla scoperta delle sue opere e dei suoi misteri, promosso da Poliedro.Sabato 30 luglio l’appuntamento è in Piazza Gioberti, al Buligame, alle 20.00 con Be Benny di Benny Blanco Aka Steb con uno spettacolo pensato per la sua città: “Cosa faresti per la tua città?” “Sarei me stesso. Non è facile, ma tutto sommato non è poi cosi male!” ha scritto sui suoi canali social alla vigilia di questo attesa data di Estate in città. Domenica 31 luglio di nuovo in Piazza delle Tabacchine il fine settimana termina con il rock di Rock in piazza con i Dithyrambs, che si esibisce dal 1988 come formazione a 4 elementi ma ben presto divenuto trio. Nel 2001 è uscito il primo cd, “2001”, che contiene alcuni pezzi dei demo precedenti e che da una nuova spinta all’attività live della band. Dal 2014 con l’ingresso di A.Paolessi al basso continuano ad esibirsi e a lavorare su nuovi pezzi.Per il cinema, la rassegna Cdcinema torna giovedì 28 luglio alle 21.00 a Città di Castello, nella frazione di Petrelle con il film Ennio e a Trestina venerdì 29 luglio con il film “Un altro giro”. All’arena di Santa Cecilia, Nuovo Cinema Castello , giovedì 28 luglio propone la pellicola Esterno Notte 2, la seconda parte del film di Bellocchio che narra le vicende del rapimento Moro. Al Cortile di Santa Cecilia. L’Italia è dilaniata dal conflitto tra le Brigate Rosse e lo Stato. Il 16 marzo 1978 Aldo Moro, il Presidente della DC, viene rapito. La sua prigionia durerà cinquantacinque giorni, al termine dei quali il suo cadavere verrà ritrovato nel pieno centro di Roma. A seguire il film Licorice Pizza, venerdì 30 e sabato 31 luglio. Al fianco dei giovanissimi debuttanti Alana Haim e Cooper Hoffman troviamo il due volte Premio Oscar Sean Penn, Bradley Cooper, Tom Waits e Benny Safdie.
