Arezzo – Mattina di studio e confronto per parlare insieme di sfide future e conoscere una delle impiantistiche più moderne in Italia Alcuni dei maggiori esperti del settore rifiuti israeliani hanno chiesto ad Aisa Impianti s.p.a di organizzare presso l’impianto a recupero integrale di San Zeno un workshop internazionale dal titolo “The role of waste management for the implementation of Circular Economy”, con utenti e addetti ai lavori collegati on line da tutto il mondo
Ad introdurre il lavori il presidente di Aisa Impianti s.p.a Giacomo Cherici e la prof.ssa Ofira Ayalon dell’Università di Haifa che hanno parlato rispettivamente delle specificità del polo tecnologico di San Zeno e dell’interesse di Israele a migliorare il proprio settore rifiuti, in vista delle sfide future globali sul piano delle risorse energetiche, del recupero delle materie prime e della tutela ambientale. A seguire, le relazioni sul tema del recupero interale dei rifiuti secondo il modello “Zero Spreco” del prof. Francesco Di Maria dell’Università di Perugia e del prof. Alberto Pivato dell’Università di Padova. Infine é stata la volta delle relazioni di Hagit Salinger di NoWaste Israel e Amir Oranim di TripleW Israel.
“Un ulteriore conferma della bontà del lavoro svolto, che ha consistito nella trasformazione di un impianto che funzionava solo come linea di termovalorizzazione in una centrale a recupero integrale- ha detto il presidente di Aisa Impianti s.p.a Giacomo Cherici. Una trasformazione profonda nella ‘terza via’ per la gestione dei rifiuti che ci permette di alimentare a energia zero tutti i prossimi impianti per produrre biometano dalla frazione organica, per raffinare le plastiche, il vetro e tutto quello che serve alla raccolta differenziata. Senza questa opportunità, i processi che servono per le raccolte differenziate sarebbero energivori e costosi. Sempre più esperti, persone e territori si stanno rendendo conto di qualcosa che a noi è stato sempre molto chiaro: senza impianti, fare le raccolte differenziate, la raccolta porta a porta o l’uso del cassonetto intelligente non sono sufficienti perché non eliminano costi e inquinamento. Gli scarti andrebbero raccolti e trasportati altrove, magari in impianti più vecchi che non offrono garanzie di sicurezza”.
“Israele sta guardando con grande interesse a cosa succede in Europa nel settore rifiuti e Aisa Impianti è un esempio molto importante perché ci sono strumenti per aumentare il riciclo e il riuso della materia, come la raccolta differenziata, ma abbiamo bisogno di un’ impiantistica per riciclare e recuperare anche energia da tutti quei rifiuti che ad oggi non trovano collocazione all’interno dei processi industriali- ha detto il prof. Francesco Di Maria dell’Università di Perugia. Oggi Zero Spreco diventa per loro un caso di studio molto importante da trasferire nel loro Paese come esempio di efficienza, efficacia, tutela dell’ambiente. E tra crisi Covid e la guerra in Ucraina, abbiamo iniziato a capire l’importanza di avere sistemi di approvvigionamento per la nostra industria e il mercato di materie prime: noi abbiamo già le materie prime e sono nei rifiuti. Questo è un settore strategico, che può contribuire a ridurre la dipendenza dall’estero dei nostri fabbisogni di materia ed energia”.
