AREZZO – Il grazie del vescovo Andrea agli operatori della comunicazione e dell’informazione e l’augurio per san Francesco di Sales loro patrono Il vescovo Andrea Migliavacca ha incontrato gli operatori dell’informazione e della comunicazione in occasione della memoria liturgica di san Francesco di Sales, loro patrono. Un’occasione di incontro e conoscenza in spirito di fraternità, a due mesi dall’ingresso in diocesi, ma anche di riflessione su un mondo, quello della comunicazione e dell’informazione, in costante cambiamento.
“Innanzi tutto voglio rivolgervi il mio grazie. Ho notato cordialità fin dal giorno del mio ingresso in diocesi e lo stesso è avvenuto anche a Cortona e Sansepolcro – ha detto il vescovo Andrea -. Il vostro lavoro mi ha aiutato e mi sta aiutando a inserirmi nella diocesi e nella vita della gente. Grazie ancora di cuore. E grazie anche ai mezzi di informazione diocesani che con professionalità hanno raccontato questi primi due mesi attraverso l’emittente Tsd, il settimanale Toscana Oggi e l’Ufficio stampa”. Il vescovo Andrea si è poi soffermato sul messaggio di papa Francesco diffuso in occasione della memoria liturgica di san Francesco di Sales sottolineando tre aspetti: “Dobbiamo cogliere il ruolo della stampa come servizio all’annuncio. Questo vuol dire fare cronaca, ma anche approfondimento, suscitando, su carta, web, video, radio, foto, riflessione e attenzioni importanti per il territorio e per il mondo. Questo può aiutarci a essere vivi, partecipi e attivi: essere cittadini. La stampa, in tutte le sue forme, è essenziale, un patrimonio, uno dei pilastri della democrazia. Quando la stampa è libera nell’annuncio, informazione e denuncia di ciò che non va, va promossa in tutti i modi”. Poi mons. Migliavacca ha evidenziato come “Il Papa sottolinea che la stampa deve presentare ciò che è vero, la verità, aiutando a smascherare le fake news. Il Servizio alla verità chiede attenzione alla qualità”. Infine il Vescovo ha notato come “Il Papa sottolinea che il servizio della stampa è anche quello di raccontare storie di vita. La notizia infatti si collega all’incontro, raccontando volti, presenze e vitalità del territorio”. Il vescovo Andrea ha poi voluto condividere l’augurio ai presenti affinché la professione, nonostante la precarietà di molti, possa essere svolta “con soddisfazione”: “Che il vostro servizio ci aiuti a cogliere la bellezza di questo territorio, ma che possa anche tenerci svegli sulle emergenze che lo abitano e che richiedono soluzioni, con uno stile schietto e di dialogo sincero, nella consapevolezza di lavorare tutti per il bene comune”. Nell’occasione, il vicario generale della diocesi, don Fabrizio Vantini, ha anche illustrato il programma della Novena della Madonna del Conforto, caratterizzata quest’anno dalla presenza costante, nelle Messe di ciascun giorno alle 18, del vescovo Andrea. Una richiesta “venuta dai preti”, ha sottolineato mons. Migliavacca “in modo da configurare la Novena stessa, come una sorta di cammino di esercizi spirituali, garantendo continuità nella predicazione in tutti e nove i giorni che precedono la grande festa del 15 febbraio”. Il giorno della solennità della Madonna del Conforto, la messa pontificale delle 10.30 sarà presieduta dal cardinale Augusto Paolo Lojudice.
Rispondendo alle domande dei presenti il vescovo Andrea ha più volte confessato del suo “Stupore nel cogliere la bellezza di Arezzo e di tutto il territorio che non conoscevo. Colgo lo stupore della cordialità, accoglienza e calore delle persone. Ma colgo anche una storia ricca di tradizione sia storica che di realtà aggregative, con la vitalità anche dei quartieri della Giostra del Saracino”, insomma il Vescovo si sta “trovando bene”. Poi ha ammesso la propria passione per la neve e così ha raccontato di aver “convinto il Vicario a sospendere alcuni incontri per poter vedere La Verna con la neve”. E quando gli chiedono quali siano i difetti degli aretini risponde sorridendo: “Non per piaggeria, ma
per ora non ne vedo. Magari l’anno prossimo ne riparliamo”, in ogni caso il Presule ha sottolineato di aver colto “schiettezza nella cordialità” e di vedere molta gente che sorride, che ha piacere di salutare e conoscersi. Tutti tratti colti anche in momenti informali, magari mentre sta mangiando un panino al bar o incontrando gente per strada, o come quando, da un piccolo equivoco con una mamma, ne è nata una visita improvvista alla scuola Aliotti.
Rispondendo alle domande dei presenti che chiedevano i problemi più urgenti a cui trovare risposte, il vescovo Andrea ha evocato l’immagine della consolazione. “In questo territorio così vasto, dove sono ben presenti disgregazione e individualismo, con tangibili difficoltà economiche e una distribuzione dei preti e delle parrocchie sul territorio che nel tempo non potrà più essere come in passato, viene richiesta l’arte della consolazione. Non un atteggiamento passivo, ma l’essere vicini per aprire strade, promuovere, ripresentare la speranza a chi è nella difficoltà. Su tutto sono due le emergenze: quella ambientale e climatica e la pace. Sul primo punto, che già oggi ha ricadute sul territorio e sulla vita di tutti, non possiamo non prendere atto che i giovani sono molto più avanti. Dobbiamo costruire comunità energetiche, lasciare le fonti fossili: questo non può non riguardarci come Chiesa. Sul tema della pace, come Chiesa, dobbiamo far sentire la nostra voce. A volte essendo pronti anche al compromesso, altre invocando la giustizia, seguendo l’esempio dei Papi”.
