La quarta edizione di EXPOARTE Città di Montichiari, mostra d’arte moderna e contemporanea, si terrà al Centro Fiera di Montichiari (BS) con il vernissage su invito programmato per venerdì 24 febbraio. L’evento è proposto in collaborazione con il direttore artistico Giovanni Zucca e sarà l’occasione perfetta per riannodare il filo con collezionisti e cultori d’arte moderna e contemporanea. L’edizione 2023, infatti, si annuncia ricca di novità e contenuti di grande interesse, grazie alla proposta di 60 gallerie provenienti da tutta Italia.
Nata a Domodossola nel 1967, Monica Gorini vive e lavora tra Milano e il Lago d’Orta. Diplomata all’Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera con docenti come Elena Pontiggia e Paolo Minoli, è entrata in contatto con artisti come Bruno Munari e Luigi Veronesi. All’attività artistica ha affiancato la formazione in ambito pedagogico didattico collaborando con Istituzioni tra cui Università Bicocca di Milano, Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, U.I.C e Istituto dei Ciechi di Milano, Triennale Design Museum, Art Beyond Sight di New York. Al MoMA di New York ha esposto due sculture multisensoriali nell’ambito di un pubblico di artisti-ricercatori. L’esperienza con persone non vedenti ha determinato l’interesse per una contaminazione tra linguaggi diversi. Sensibilmente legata al mondo della natura e dei diritti, è alla ricerca di un’estetica che stimoli riflessioni attuali ed intime, finalizzate allo sviluppo di una coscienza sociale e di una nuova ecologia spirituale del mondo.
Igor Grigoletto nasce a Sanremo nel 1972. Dopo essersi diplomato all’istituto d’arte di Imperia nella sezione di decorazione pittorica, decide di proseguire gli studi frequentando l’accademia Albertina di Torino, sezione di pittura.
Collabora con compagnie teatrali. Progetta e realizza fondali scenici per la compagnia teatrale “l’utopia ovvero la filocomica” all’interno del teatro ARISTON di Sanremo.
Frequenta un corso privato di lavorazione TIFFANY del vetro e di qui inizia la sua attività artigianale dove, nel suo percorso lavorativo, ha la possibilità di farsi conoscere grazie al suo estro che lo differenzia dai suoi colleghi. Nei primi anni crea ed espone sia a Sanremo che a Parma collezioni di complementi d’arredo moderni, di design, realizzati con una tecnica antica, la tecnica TIFFANY. In questo periodo riceve anche il riconoscimento il premio LA STAMPA e il premio “OPASI” per la progettazione di arredi in marmo.
Il richiamo della tela e dei colori, lo riporta sui vecchi passi, così nel 2018 riprende a produrre quadri che lo portano ad un crescendo di opere. Dopo aver lavorato su vari supporti come sacchi di juta, fiscoli (detti anche sportine), reti metalliche e sculture in metallo, ritorna alla materia che più conosce e lavora: il vetro. Lo studio della linea, sotto ogni sua forma, nasce dalla ricerca di segni, “lettere” che fuoriescono dalle superfici grazie ad incroci di linee sottostanti, non visibili ma presenti. Le opere sembrano un susseguirsi di scritture senza fine, che non obbediscono, apparentemente, a codici ma ad una libera estetica.
