I riflettori internazionali del motocross e fuoristrada si accendo sul circuito “La Trogna”. Quello in programma da domani fino a sabato 29 Luglio sarà un week-end sportivo di livello mondiale per i numerosi appassionati delle due ruote. “Spice It Up” è l’evento organizzato da “GASGAS”, sabato 29 luglio, per consentire a tutti appassionati di offroad di ritrovarsi per testare in anteprima mondiale i nuovi modelli della gamma Motocross ed Enduro 2024. Un grande festival, in occasione del quale saranno messe a disposizione decine di moto nuove, da provare su una delle piste più affascinanti d’Italia: il Crossodromo La Trogna. A dare l’annuncio di quello che si preannuncia come l’evento sportivo di mezza estate che richiamerà a Citta’ di Castello la stampa mondiale del settore e tanti appassionati è, con orgoglio, Stefano Fiorucci, Presidente del Motoclub “Ennio Baglioni, che dal 2016, uno dei pochi casi in Italia, è proprietario e gestore del circuito da cross “G.Ceccarini” in località “la Trogna” a Città di Castello, impianto di livello nazionale per importanza e caratteristiche tecniche del tracciato ed ovviamente delle manifestazioni sportive riconosciute dalla F.M.I (Federazione Motociclistica Italiana). Lo spettacolare tracciato è stato scelto dalla nota casa motociclistica perché si adatta a tutte le discipline: con salti mozzafiato e curve da brivido. “A Città di Castello – spiega Fiorucci – ci saranno ben 14 versioni, in maniera che ogni partecipante, dall’amatore al rider più esperto, possa trovare la moto adatta alle varie esigenze.” “Dopo la presentazione dell’evento ai giornalisti delle maggiori testate giornalistiche del settore sportivo di paesi Europei e oltreoceano, con la presenza del sindaco e assessore allo sport del comune di Citta’ di Castello, e quella dedicata alle prove delle moto sempre alla stampa specializzata, sabato 29 Luglio dalle ore 9.00 alle ore 18.00 ci sarà la possibilità per chiunque si iscriva al link della casa motociclistica di provare le moto a fianco di piloti di livello mondiale come, Justin Barcia, Andrea Verona, Laia Sanz, Taddy Blazusiak, Navas Petit, Adrian Guggemos e per la bike Simon Carlsso e Alex Marin. Per tutta la giornata ci saranno punti di Street Food con un Festival contornato da musica”, ha concluso il Presidente del Motoclub “Ennio Baglioni”, Stefano Fiorucci. “Nel dare il benvenuto agli organizzatori dell’evento di livello mondiale, alla stampa internazionale, il sindaco Luca Secondi e l’assessore allo Sport, Riccardo Carletti, sottolineano con soddisfazione il gran lavoro che il Motoclub “Baglioni”, il Presidente Fiorucci e tutto il direttivo in ogni componente ha compiuto anche in questa occasione straordinaria, una vetrina internazionale sulla citta’ e sul circuito che la nota casa motociclistica ha scelto per il lancio dei nuovi modelli. LA SCHEDA –Il Motoclub
Nel 1927 organizzò la cronoscalata di San Giustino e Bocca Trabaria.
Tenne varie manifestazioni fin prima della guerra.
Nel 1969 ne furono riprese le redini, dandogli il nome di Motoclub Città di Castello.
Il Motoclub E. Baglioni assunse il suo odierno nome solo nel 1974, in onore di un concittadino morto nella Milano-Taranto.
Un altro pilota di velocità del Motoclub perse la vita in una gara mondiale al Mugello nel 1976.
Il Motoclub negli anni successivi si dedicò principalmente al fuoristrada enduro e cross.
Nel 1985, dopo tante insistenze, il Comune diede l’opportunità di fare il Crossodromo, la cui inaugurazione avvenne nel 1987.
Con il tempo vennero fatte gare sempre più importanti, fino ad arrivare ai giorni nostri.
Oggi l’impianto è un prima categoria internazionale, tra i più importanti di Italia.
Tutto questo è stato reso possibile con le sole spese dei soci, che oggi sono in grado di acquistare tutti i terreni su cui il circuito è situato, con la clausola che se un giorno non dovesse più esistere il motoclub i terreni rimarranno al Comune purché rimanga un impianto di questo tipo.
IL CROSSODROMO
Il circuito del crossodromo G. Ceccarini ha una lunghezza di circa 1780 metri.
E’ omologato 1° categoria FMI – UISP e sono ammessi tutti i piloti con le rispettive licenze. Il terreno della pista è argilloso e a tratti sabbioso, garantisce un ottimo grip con pista umida ma anche in condizioni di pioggia il grip non è indifferente. Il terreno è curato e irrigato a dovere anche nei periodi più caldi dell’anno dove, grazie all’apposito impianto, la pista viene regolarmente bagnata.
Il circuito è uno dei più importanti del centro Italia, spesso teatro di numerose gare e manifestazioni internazionali. Difficoltà: Livello medio, la pista richiede una certa esperienza per essere goduta appieno pur risultando molto divertente anche per piloti alle prime armi.CDCNOTIZIE/2023/07/27/COMINLINEA/357/GGAL
