Così Fabrizio Innocenti e Riccardo Marzi, sindaco e vicesindaco di Sansepolcro, in merito ai recenti sviluppi di una vicenda che negli ultimi mesi ha occupato le cronache.
Il caso è relativo ai rotoloni di erba sintetica che ricoprivano il manto dell’antistadio, rimossi per essere sostituiti nell’ambito del progetto di rinnovamento dell’impianto. Azione questa che provocò l’intervento dei Carabinieri Forestali, che apposero i sigilli ai grossi rotoli di erba giudicando scorretto il comportamento tenuto da Palazzo delle Laudi. “Come sempre sostenuto” dichiarano i due amministratori “la parte di erba rimossa a suo tempo e destinata al riutilizzo non è mai diventata un rifiuto. Essa fu anche sottoposta ad accurate analisi che non riscontrarono valori anomali. Nessun deposito incontrollato di rifiuti è stato dunque posto in essere. Parte di questa erba è stata correttamente smaltita come rifiuto perché non riutilizzabile mentre per l’altra, la più corposa in percentuale e di migliore qualità, si stabilì di riutilizzarla in altre aree di proprietà pubblica come giardini e aree verdi delle scuole. Quando ci fu notificato il sequestro del materiale procedemmo subito con l’istanza di dissequestro. Che in questi giorni il magistrato ha accolto, notificando il provvedimento sia all’ufficio ambiente comunale sia al titolare dell’impresa che aveva provveduto alla rimozione dell’erba sintetica”. Si va nella direzione dell’archiviazione del caso” concludono il sindaco Innocenti e il vicesindaco Marzi “il che testimonia il nostro corretto comportamento, la nostra buona fede e la volontà di riutilizzare parte del materiale rimosso ad uso della collettività”.
