Il focus scelto dalla World alliance for breastfeeding action (Waba) per la promozione dell’allattamento al seno è “Sostegno a 360° – stop alle disuguaglianze” al fine di contrastare le disparità e offrire supporto all’allattamento a tutte le famiglie. “La settimana mondiale dell’allattamento – commenta il direttore del Dipartimento Materno Infantile dell’Asl Tse, Flavio Civitelli – rappresenta sempre un momento importante di riflessione e di confronto, sia con le professionalità dell’Azienda che con le associazioni di volontariato che supportano quotidianamente le famiglie nel delicato momento della post partum. Anche quest’anno le associazioni delle mamme peer del territorio della Asl Tse e il personale dell’Azienda hanno unito le loro forze per organizzare interessanti iniziative in tutte e 3 le province per una riflessione sulla rete di sostegno e sulle sfide possibili per mettere fine alle disuguaglianze – Il mio ringraziamento speciale va alle mamme peer e agli operatori e operatrici del Dipartimento Materno Infantile impegnati su questi temi.”Il 12 ottobre, all’Hotel Four Point di Siena, si svolgerà il corso di formazione dal titolo “la rete baby friendly nell’Asl Toscana sud est di cui è responsabile scientifica la dott.ssa Valentina Canocchi, referente Aziendale del percorso BFHI (Baby friendly Hospital initiative). Durante la giornata i professionisti dei punti nascita, del consultorio, del territorio, pediatri di libera scelta e mamme alla pari si confronteranno per presentare buone pratiche e proporre nuove interessanti sfide volte a delineare un percorso unico per tutto il territorio dell’Azienda.Il 5 ottobre, al Parco del Pionta ad Arezzo, spazio alle famiglie con giochi e attività e la partecipazione di professionisti e associazioni a partire dalle ore 16.00. È previsto un punto dedicato per il cambio pannolini, l’allattamento e le informazioni per le famiglie. Alla giornata saranno presenti il pediatria Giovanni Poggini, referente Unicef, l’Acb Social Inclusion con interpreti per permettere a tutte le famiglie di poter fare domande e togliersi dubbi, la Biblioteca di Arezzo e il progetto Nati per Leggere, la psicologa Leila Raggioli specializzata in Counseling e la Misericordia di Arezzo. Dal 1° ottobre, l’ospedale Santa Maria alla Gruccia ospiterà una mostra dedicata per sensibilizzare la comunità sul tema. L’associazione Mamme per le mamme Valdarno ha organizzato, per sabato 5 ottobre alle 10.00 (partenza e ritorno da viale Armando Diaz 20) una passeggiata per le vie ciclopedonali di San Giovanni Valdarno che coinvolgerà genitori con figli e mamme in dolce attesa. L’evento ha l’obiettivo di far conoscere i servizi offerti dal territorio e affrontare insieme, camminando, le problematiche che le madri affrontano ogni giorno in merito all’allattamento, allo svezzamento ed alla genitorialità in generale.
