Domenica 12 gennaio ore 20.45 – Teatro degli Illuminati La Stagione 24/25 di Città di Castello, organizzata dal Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria insieme all’amministrazione comunale, ospita lo spettacolo Delirio a due di Eugène Ionesco con Corrado Nuzzo e Maria Di Biase diretti da Giorgio Gallione; in scena domenica 12 gennaio alle 20.45 al Teatro degli Illuminati.
Delirio a due è un piccolo capolavoro del Teatro dell’Assurdo, un irresistibile scherzo teatrale tipico del miglior Ionesco, dove la cornice comica e beffarda e il funambolismo verbale fanno comunque trasparire una società che affoga nella tragedia quotidiana e nella sconcertante gratuità dei comportamenti, e dove il linguaggio, invece di essere strumento di comunicazione, è un ostacolo che allontana e divide. Nella commedia domina il paradosso e il grottesco e la perenne, futile, incessante lite tra Lui e Lei, ridicole marionette umane imprigionate nella ragnatela di un ménage familiare annoiato e ripetitivo. Il tema del contendere è sempre e solo un pretesto: la chiocciola e la tartaruga sono o non sono la stessa bestia? Un grimaldello assurdo (ma che i due vivono come fondamentale) che fa da trampolino a un dialogo sempre più serrato, funambolico e bellicoso che presto raggiunge le vette di un nonsense da comica finale, di un tragicomico Helzapoppin domestico. E tutto ciò mentre all’esterno della casa infuria una misteriosa guerra civile che i due, sordi e ciechi alla realtà, quasi non percepiscono, impermeabili alle bombe che esplodono, alle sparatorie che echeggiano nella via, alle stragi, ai muri e ai soffitti che crollano. La potenza comica ed eversiva di Ionesco arriva in questa pièce a risultati geniali e tragicomici, e la naturalezza surreale con la quale l’autore costruisce dialoghi e situazioni di questo cinico gioco al massacro diventa a poco a poco un formidabile strumento di analisi e critica di una società ottusa e urlante, troppo spesso incapace di afferrare il senso di ciò che le accade intorno, addirittura compiaciuta dalla propria grettezza. In scena Corrado Nuzzo e Maria Di Biase prestano a Delirio a due la loro naturale bizzarria, il loro talento imprevedibile e mai convenzionale, il loro gusto per il capovolgimento improvviso che disegna una situazione che è la perfetta, amara metafora dell’oggi, dove riso e sorriso evidenziano ancor più la banalità quotidiana, il conformismo, le paure di una società inaridita e patologicamente insoddisfatta di sé
