UNIONE DEI COMUNI DELLA VALDICHIANA SENESE – Un weekend di appuntamenti culturali ideati e organizzati da un team di ragazzi e ragazze under 23 Tre giorni di appuntamenti culturali pensati, organizzati e gestiti da un team di ragazzi e ragazze tra i 18 e i 23 anni nell’ambito di Cantiere Città Junior, il progetto dell’Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese che rientra nell’ambito delle proposte del Ministero della Cultura per le città finaliste per il titolo di Capitale italiana della Cultura 2026

La Valdichiana Senese è pronta ad accogliere i ragazzi e le ragazze, dai 18 ai 23 anni, di Cantiere Città Junior Edition, progetto dell’Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese che rientra nell’insieme delle proposte del Ministero della Cultura, con il sostegno della Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali, alle città finaliste per il titolo di Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2026. Cantiere Città Junior vede coinvolti ragazzi e ragazze in un percorso di co-progettazione culturale che li ha accompagnati dall’autunno scorso e che in Valdichiana Senese si concretizzerà il prossimo fine settimana, 21, 22 e 23 Marzo, con tre giorni di eventi culturali diffusi, visite guidate ed esperienze artistiche che raccontano la cultura e le tradizioni del territorio, ideati da un team under 23. Cantiere Città Junior Edition fa parte della programmazione di Valdichiana 2025 – Capitale Toscana della Cultura, per i suoi valori dicondivisione nell’ottica di favorire lo scambio di idee e di creatività tra i territori per una strategia di crescita delle aree interne e di valorizzazione e promozione di tutto il territorio.

PROGRAMMA. La quarta tappa del progetto dunque inizierà in Valdichiana Senese nel pomeriggio di Venerdì 21 Marzo quando il gruppo di circa dieci tra ragazzi e ragazze arriveranno a Chiusi dove avranno già l’opportunità di conoscere la storia del nostro territorio con la visita guidata a Chiusi Sotterranea e al Museo Civico; la prima giornata si chiuderà con una cena in un locale della cittadina chiusina. Sabato 22 Marzo il gruppo raggiungerà Sarteano alla scoperta della suggestiva Tomba della Quadriga Infernale e per la visita alla sala d’arte Domenico Beccafumi dove è esposto il quadro dell’Annunciazione. Il gruppo potrà poi entrare a contatto con il mondo teatrale grazie a un laboratorio a cura della Compagnia Arrischianti di Sarteano. Dopo la pausa a base di piatti tipici, la giornata proseguirà a Montepulciano con un tour guidato per il centro storico da Piazza Grande a Porta al Prato, con visite ai luoghi più caratteristici di Montepulciano. Sarà poi il bellissimo Tempio di San Biagio a incantare tutti i residenti, mentre la scuola di tamburini e sbandieratori, a cura del Gruppo Sbandieratori e Tamburini di Montepulciano, farà conoscere l’arte della bandiera e del tamburo. Chianciano Terme e le piscine Termali Theia li attenderanno per concludere la seconda giornata. Infine, nella mattinata di domenica 23 Marzo il gruppo è atteso a Pienza per una visita nel centro storico e per un incontro organizzato in collaborazione con Impluvium Aps dedicato a Mario Luzi, dove attraverso la lettura e la declamazione delle sue poesie i residenti conosceranno più da vicino il famoso autore. Al termine della mattinata il gruppo dovrà salutare la Valdichiana Senese ma con la consapevolezza di tornare presto a scoprire le altre meraviglie che il territorio è in grado di offrire. “Siamo felici – spiega l’assessore alla cultura dell’Unione dei Comuni della Valdichiana Senese e delegato a Capitale Toscana della Cultura 2025 Giacomo Grazi – di ospitare nel territorio i giovani rappresentanti delle dieci città finaliste incontrate nel nostro percorso a Capitale Italiana della Cultura 2026. Grazie a Cantiere Città Junior, che fa parte del programma di appuntamenti di Valdichiana 2025, possiamo confrontarci con esperienze e territori diversi per una progettualità culturale importante che ci rende i protagonisti nella crescita della comunità. Cantiere Città Junior è un contenitore di esperienze differenti tra loro ma che trova in sé il collante per generare confronto e incontro che si concretizzano nell’entusiasmo dei ragazzi e delle ragazze che ne fanno parte. Nel programma di Capitale Toscana della Cultura 2025 sono molti gli appuntamenti dedicati alle giovani generazioni perché crediamo che debbano essere parte attiva di questo percorso che condurrà ad azioni future necessarie per la crescita della Valdichiana.”
