Una “rosa” listata con i colori dell’arma, un minuto di raccoglimento alla memoria del brigadiere capo dei carabinieri, Carlo Legrottaglie, ucciso il 12 giugno in provincia di Brindisi e l’Inno di Mameli prima del calcio d’inizio hanno segnato in maniera indelebile la terza edizione del “Torneo in Amicizia”, manifestazione di calcio “a otto” allo stadio comunale Corrado Bernicchi che ieri ha visto sfidarsi le rappresentative di Carabinieri, Guardia di Finanza, Polizia di Stato, Vigili del Fuoco e Comune di Città di Castello. Momenti davvero toccanti e sentiti che hanno permeato di umanità e solidarietà un evento che coniuga sport, solidarietà e fair-play, ma anche la grinta e il sano spirito agonistico che non fanno tirare indietro la gamba mai pur di vincere. Ad aggiudicarsi il torneo è stata la selezione dei Vigili del Fuoco guidata dal capo distaccamento, Gian Paolo Ciuchi, ma alla fine hanno vinto tutti all’insegna dei valori dello sport e sana competizione. Prima del fischio d’inizio degli impeccabili arbitri della sezione Aia di Città di Castello, il questore della provincia di Perugia, Dario Sallustio, intervenuto alle fasi iniziali del lungo pomeriggio di sport ha promosso a pieni voti la formula e lo spirito che sta alla base di una “bella e spontanea iniziativa di amicizia e passione per lo sport, il calcio, filo conduttore di un progetto finale di solidarietà e vicinanza alla comunità locale e al bene di tutti.” Accanto al questore di Perugia, il sindaco Luca Secondi ed i rappresentanti delle cinque formazioni, il comune appunto, i carabinieri con il comandante della compagnia di Città di Castello, Massimiliano Croce, la guardia di finanza con la comandante della compagnia di Città di castello, Claudia Mossali, la polizia di stato con il vice-questore aggiunto, Adriano Politano ed i vigili del fuoco con il capo distaccamento, Gian Paolo Ciuchi. A concludere il pomeriggio è stata la cerimonia di premiazione finale, nella quale tutti i protagonisti del torneo si sono ritrovati abbracciati, tra pacche sulle spalle e anche qualche divertente sfottò. Chiamati uno per uno dal sindaco Secondi e da Massimo Massetti, deus ex machina del torneo, alla presenza del vice presidente del comitato umbro della FIGC Claudio Tomassucci, degli assessori Riccardo Carletti, Giuseppe Bernicchi e Rodolfo Braccalenti (presenti anche i consiglieri comunali, Loriana Grasselli e Luigi Gennari) sono sfilati giocatori e tecnici delle selezioni partecipanti, che si sono uniti negli applausi per i vincitori. Ringraziamenti per tutti coloro che hanno contribuito alla buona riuscita del torneo, da Lucio Ciarabelli della Cartoedit che ha offerto le targhe dei premi, fino alla Pat Croce Bianca tifernate del presidente Claudio Fortuna e ai gestori della club house dello stadio Bernicchi, dove al termine del torneo si sono ritrovati tutti per una graditissima conviviale nell’ideale “terzo tempo” della manifestazione. Prima della consegna dei trofei, la ufficializzazione dei premi speciali, “fair play”, a Stella Brachelente della Polizia di Stato, al miglior portiere, Maurizio Tizzi, sempre della Polizia di Stato e miglior giocatore, Jacopo Migliaccio della Guardia di Finanza. “Abbiamo iniziato la stagione di queste simpatiche sfide calcistiche in amicizia, avviate qualche anno fa, con un torneo di calcio a otto che ha visto alternarsi squadre in rappresentanza delle forze dell’ordine e associazioni. E’ stata come una festa in amicizia che segna un punto di partenza delle numerose attività estive anche attraverso lo sport”, ha dichiarato il sindaco, Luca Secondi, “capitano” della formazione del comune tifernate che ha annoverato amministratori e dipendenti. Il sindaco Luca Secondi ha ringraziato infine per la consueta e preziosa collaborazione, Polisport, la lega nazionale dilettanti, comitato regionale umbro e l’associazione italiana arbitri, unitamente a coloro che hanno contribuito alla organizzazione dell’evento, il cavalier Lucio Ciarabelli (titolare di Cartoedit) ed il gruppo Gala.
