L’edizione 2025 è stata interamente dedicata alla celebrazione di Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, grande maestro della polifonia rinascimentale. Una settimana tra musica sacra e profana, canti popolari e gregoriani che ha avuto come momento inaugurale, il 20 agosto nella Basilica di San Domenico, il concerto speciale “La vertigine del Cantico”. In programma l’esecuzione de “Il Cantico dei Cantici” di Palestrina, una delle opere più alte e poetiche del compositore pubblicata nel 1584. A esibirsi, l’Ensemble De Labyrintho, tra le formazioni più apprezzate in Europa per l’interpretazione del repertorio antico, sotto la direzione di Walter Testolin.
