NUOVA CONVENZIONE TRA COMANDO TRUPPE ALPINE DELL’ESERCITO E CLUB ALPINO ITALIANO SU FORMAZIONE E SICUREZZA NELL’ALPINISMO E NELLO SCIALPINISMO A Milano, presso la Sede centrale del Club alpino italiano, è stato firmato un protocollo d’intesa triennaledal Comandante delle Truppe Alpine, Gen. C.A. Ignazio Gamba, e dal Presidente generale del Cai, Vincenzo Torti
Formazione, prevenzione, sperimentazione di materiali alpinistici, studio e divulgazione di conoscenze tecniche, scientifiche e didattiche legate all’ambiente montano, all’alpinismo e allo scialpinismo, al soccorso alpino, alla neve, alle valanghe e alla meteorologia alpina. Sono questi gli ambiti della collaborazione tra Comando Truppe Alpine dellEsercito (COMALP) e Club alpino italiano (Cai), formalizzata oggi a Milano con la firma della convenzione triennale da parte del Comandante delle Truppe Alpine, il Generale di Corpo d’Armata Ignazio Gamba, e del Presidente generale del Cai, Vincenzo Torti. COMALP e Cai, che da oltre trent’anni hanno rapporti di collaborazione legati alla frequentazione della montagna in tutte le stagioni, operano entrambi nella ricerca, nella sperimentazione e nel collaudo di materiali ed equipaggiamenti da utilizzare per le attività alpinistiche e scialpinistiche, e sono convinti dellefficacia delle sinergie reciproche tra enti che, a diverso titolo, operano nel settore della montagna. Per i firmatari è dunque importante intraprendere un percorso condiviso, che coinvolgerà il personale militare e gli Istruttori, i tecnici e i corsisti del Cai nella promozione delle attività alpinistiche e scialpinistiche attraverso i più moderni criteri metodologici e didattici, con particolare attenzione alla sicurezza. Il Comando Truppe Alpine dell’Esercito, come supporto logistico alle iniziative formative congiunte, metterà a disposizione le proprie infrastrutture nelle sedi di Passo del Tonale (BS), Bousson (TO), Corvara in Badia (BZ), Courmayeur (AO), La Thuile (AO), Aosta e Tai di Cadore (BL). «La convenzione è un prezioso strumento che consente, in uno scambio biunivoco, il travaso di esperienze e professionalità tra due Enti che, con finalità diverse, hanno nellambiente montano il proprio terreno di elezione. – ha dichiarato il Comandante delle Truppe Alpine, Gen. C.A. Ignazio Gamba – Il riconoscimento reciproco, nei vari gradi, dei titoli di Istruttore nellambito alpinistico e scialpinistico, sono la riprova delle assolute eccellenze dei componenti delle due Organizzazioni». «Il rinnovato accordo tra Cai e Truppe alpine riprende un percorso che, già tracciato nel tempo, guarda a un immediato futuro di collaborazione sempre più incisiva e diffusa nei territori montani, – ha dichiarato il Presidente generale del Cai, Vincenzo Torti – nella comune visione del rispetto per l’ambiente e dell’impegno nella serietà per una formazione condivisa e di valorizzazione reciproca di capacità ed esperienze». Nelle attività congiunte si impegneranno, per il COMALP, il Centro Addestramento Alpino e, per il Cai, la Commissione nazionale scuole di alpinismo, scialpinismo e arrampicata libera, il Centro studi materiali e tecniche e il Servizio valanghe italiano.
