PIETRASANTA – LUCCA – Un intenso programma di respiro internazionale caratterizza la settima edizione del DAP Festival che si svolgerà a Pietrasanta (LU) dal 25 giugno all’8 luglio 2023. Sono ben 24 gli appuntamenti del DAP 2023 che si svolgeranno tra gli spazi aperti della città, il Chiostro di Sant’Agostino e il Gran Teatro della Versiliana.
Il Festival inaugura il 25 giugno con il suo primo spettacolo …Nel volgersi infinito delle sue onde, un’importante co-produzione tra DAP Festival, Pietrasanta in Concerto e la Compagnia Simona Bucci che coinvolge il violinista Michael Guttman, la violoncellista Jing Zhao e il pianista Roberto Prosseda. Tra tutti gli appuntamenti della nuova edizione del DAP spiccano le date del 2 e 8 luglio, quando andranno in scena alcune tra le grandi star mondiali della danza per il Contemporary Dance Gala e il Gran Gala finale. Si entra nel cuore del Festival il 2 luglio con un appuntamento imperdibile nel chiostro di S. Agostino per il nuovissimo Contemporary Dance Gala che mette a confronto coreografi italiani e israeliani e protagonisti quali Marion Barbeau e Antonin Monie, primi ballerini dell’Opéra di Parigi, nelle coreografie di Shahar Binyamini presentate da MART Foundation NYC. On stage anche Alice Mariani e Gabriele Corrado, primi ballerini del Teatro alla Scala, nelle coreografie di Emanuela Tagliavia, con le musiche di Gianpaolo Testoni e le coreografie e l’interpretazione di Tamara Fragale accompagnata dalla musicista newyorkese Vita Zambetti di Zsauce Music NYC. Si prosegue con Maria Kochetkova, una vera star internazionale del repertorio classico e contemporaneo che si esibirà con Sebastian Kloborg e le musiche dal vivo di Alexander McKenzie direttore del Kammerballeten DK in una coreografia dell’israeliana Ella Rothschild concludendo quella che si può davvero definire la star parade del 2 luglio. L’8 luglio è il momento di PeiJu Chien-Pott descritta come una delle più grandi ballerine moderne viventi che, in questo spettacolo, collabora con il danzatore e coreografo taiwanese Chien-Ming Chang Direttore di Hofesh Schechter II all’interpretazione e realizzazione di Pretend, in Prima mondiale per il Gran Gala finale dell’8 luglio sul grande palcoscenico della Versiliana. Lo spettacolo nasce da un’idea di Adria Ferrali con la collaborazione dello scultore italiano Stefano Bombardieri che porta in scena una straordinaria e nuova coreografia dove l’arte è al centro della scena.
