Ritorno degli uffici della Soprintendenza ad Arezzo. E’ l’ordine del giorno che le forze di maggioranza a Palazzo delle Laudi (Borgo al Centro, Lega e Forza Italia, Cittadini per Sansepolcro, Moderati e Riformisti) hanno proposto e illustrato nel corso dei lavori del recente consiglio comunale e che ha ottenuto la piena adesione di tutti i gruppi consiliari. “Dal 2014” si legge nel testo dell’odg “La Soprintendenza di Arezzo è stata accorpata con quella di Grosseto e Siena, mantenendo presso quest’ultima la sede principale e impoverendo di fatto la nostra provincia di un riferimento fondamentale.

Tale impatto ha anche gravato sul sistema economico aretino per le specificità dei suoi compiti e date le dimensioni territoriali della provincia aretina, la tutela del paesaggio e del patrimonio edilizio oltre alla sua storia artistica e culturale. La città di Arezzo e tutta la sua provincia sono custodi di una innumerevole quantità di beni architettonici, artistici e storici ereditati da secoli di civiltà e arte che la vedono ancora oggi collocarsi tra le mete culturali più apprezzate in Italia e all’estero”. Da qui la richiesta formulata. “Nella convinzione che la riforma del 2014 non ha portato alcun tipo di risparmio ma solo la perdita di un fondamentale punto di riferimento, chiediamo a sindaco e giunta di attivarsi con tutte le possibili iniziative verso gli organi di riferimento, compreso il Ministero dei Beni Culturali, affinchè Arezzo e il suo territorio possano riavere una sede autonoma in grado di agire”.
