CITTA’ DI CASTELLO – per aiutare tutti gli studenti a scegliere in modo consapevole il proprio futuro e con pari opportunità di accesso all’offerta formativa: la giunta comunale investirà sul binomio orientamento-inclusione le risorse della Regione per l’attuazione del diritto allo studio. Assessore Guerri: “strutturare un sistema di orientamento scolastico verticale che accompagni i giovani durante tutto il percorso dell’istruzione significa investire sulle loro potenzialità
ma anche mettere in rete il mondo della scuola con il tessuto economico della città” “Il futuro dei nostri giovani comincia sui banchi di scuola, da una scelta degli indirizzi di studio consapevole delle possibilità lavorative che offre il territorio e dalla garanzia delle pari opportunità nell’accesso ai percorsi di formazione. Ecco perché la giunta comunale, a seguito di un incontro con tutti i dirigenti scolastici delle scuole pubbliche e partitarie di Città di Castello, ha stabilito di utilizzare le risorse assegnate dalla Regione Umbria a sostegno del diritto allo studio su due direttrici: promuovere l’orientamento scolastico verticale dalla scuola dell’infanzia fino alla secondaria di secondo grado e facilitare l’accesso e la frequenza delle attività scolastiche e formative a bambini e ragazzi in condizioni di disabilità o svantaggio”. E’ la dichiarazione con cui l’assessore ai Servizi Educativi Letizia Guerri dà notizia degli obiettivi sui quali l’amministrazione comunale ha scelto di investire i fondi regionali per l’attuazione del diritto allo studio. Le risorse andranno a cofinanziare i progetti delle istituzioni scolastiche del territorio, pubbliche e paritarie di ogni ordine e grado, che nell’anno educativo 2023-2024 saranno strutturati sul binomio orientamento-inclusione, con la finalità di offrire agli studenti e alle loro famiglie gli strumenti conoscitivi necessari a compiere scelte consapevoli e adeguate alle proprie caratteristiche e alle proprie aspettative. “Per noi è fondamentale che tutti i giovani abbiano le stesse opportunità di studiare, di seguire le proprie inclinazioni, i propri interessi i propri obiettivi, potendo scegliere con un punto di vista chiaro sulle opportunità che nella nostra città offrono la scuola e il mondo del lavoro”, spiega Guerri. “Strutturare un sistema di orientamento scolastico che accompagni gli studenti durante tutto il percorso dell’istruzione significa investire sulle loro potenzialità per indirizzarle a una formazione culturale e professionale consapevole, ma anche mettere in rete il mondo della scuola con il tessuto economico della città”. Già dalle prossime settimane verranno avviati i contatti con le istituzioni scolastiche locali per raccogliere i progetti corredati dai relativi piani economici, valutarne la rispondenza alle finalità della normativa regionale sul diritto allo studio e agli indirizzi dell’amministrazione comunale per il successivo cofinanziamento da parte dell’ente.
