CITTA’ DI CASTELLO – Finanziati quasi 10 milioni di euro per la costruzione della nuova scuola Dante Alighieri entro il 2026. La soddisfazione del sindaco e degli assessorati ai Lavori Pubblici e ai Servizi Educativi: “finalmente prontia scrivereuna nuova importante pagina della storia della scuola a Città di Castello”“Siamo finalmente pronti a scrivere una nuova importante pagina della storia della scuola a Città di Castello: il Ministero dell’Istruzione ci ha assegnato 9 milioni 585 mila euro, il finanziamento con i fondi del PNRR più alto in Umbria del programma Futura, per la demolizione e la ricostruzione nell’attuale sito della scuola Dante Alighieri”.
Il sindaco, insieme agli assessorati ai Lavori Pubblici e ai Servizi Educativi, annuncia così che “in base agli attuali termini per la rendicontazione dei finanziamenti del PNRR, entro il 2026 l’amministrazione comunale potrà mettere a disposizione delle nuove generazioni di studenti e delle loro famiglie un complesso scolastico sicuro, moderno e sostenibile, funzionale alle future esigenze dei processi di insegnamento e apprendimento”. La proposta progettuale degli uffici tecnici del Comune è rientrata tra le cinque che nella regione beneficeranno dei fondi del PNRR finalizzati alla costruzione di nuovi edifici scolastici nell’ambito del programma “Futura – La scuola per l’Italia di domani”, che collega le diverse azioni attivate grazie a risorse nazionali ed europee per una scuola innovativa, sostenibile, sicura e inclusiva, capace di svolgere un ruolo educativo strategico per la crescita del Paese. “La nuova Dante Alighieri sarà un complesso scolastico di circa 4 mila metri quadrati, che sorgerà nell’attuale sede del quartiere La Tina e ospiterà oltre 300 studenti in ambienti per la didattica pensati per offrire servizi a minori e adulti, con una palestra che garantirà la pratica di più discipline sportive anche in orari extrascolastici”, spiegano il sindaco e gli assessorati ai Lavori Pubblici e ai Servizi Educativi, sottolineando che “saranno impiegati i più moderni sistemi di dissipazione sismica per garantire la massima sicurezza anche in caso di eventi importanti e saranno adottate le soluzioni che permetteranno un elevato comfort climatico, con la minimizzazione dei consumi energetici”. Il finanziamento per la realizzazione dell’istituto secondario di primo grado fa seguito a quello da 5 milioni di euro per 9 interventi di rigenerazione urbana a valere sui fondi del PNRR ottenuto nei mesi scorsi. “L’efficienza con cui gli uffici comunali stanno lavorando per concorrere agli importanti finanziamenti messi a disposizione per la ripresa post-Covid 19 merita un plauso – puntualizzano il sindaco e gli assessorati competenti – perché sta garantendo importanti opportunità di investimento in linea con gli obiettivi della nuova amministrazione finalizzati alla riqualificazione e il rilancio della città, che sul versante dell’edilizia scolastica puntano alla rigenerazione profonda di un patrimonio comunale composto da 30 edifici”.
