Nell’interrogazione Tanzi dichiara di aver ha constatato di persona che l’incrocio di viale Europa e via Bartali è pericoloso e che la criticità dipende dal fatto che il semaforo lampeggiando continuamente, favorisce le auto che procedono nei due sensi di marcia di viale Europa, mentre l’attraversamento da parte delle auto, delle biciclette
Presenta grandi difficoltà in riferimento alla direzione che devono prendere e per questo motivo è necessario far funzionare il semaforo per gran parte della giornata oppure predisporre sensori che attivino il semaforo in presenza di mezzi posizionati per l’attraversamento, come succede per i mezzi dei vigili del fuoco, dei carabinieri forestali e dei pedoni che possono usufruire del semaforo che a richiesta ferma la circolazione”. “Inoltre – precisa il consigliere – sarebbe necessario ed indispensabile, provvedere al taglio delle siepi, dell’erba e alberi quando si presenta la necessità e non solo in base alla programmazione; controllore che la posizione dei segnali stradali non impedisca la giusta visibilità; mettere dei segnale lungo viale Europa che invitino gli automobilisti a procedere ad una giusta velocità . Al fine di procedere con tempestività, ricordo che detto incrocio è stato teatro in passato di gravi incidenti”.
