Organizzato dallo Spadel – Padel Club di Acquaviva di Montepulciano, in collaborazione con il Magistrato delle Contrade di Montepulciano, il Primo Torneo di Padel tra le Contrade dedicato a Fabrizio Contemori sta riscuotendo tanto entusiasmo tutto il mondo contradaiolo di Montepulciano.Sport, aggregazione e divertimento in ricordo di Fabrizio Contemori, sono gli elementi del Primo Torneo di Padel delle contrade del Bravìo delle Botti di Montepulciano ‘Memorial Fabrizio Contemori’, organizzato dallo Spadel – Padel Club di Acquaviva di Montepulciano in collaborazione con il Magistrato delle Contrade di Montepulciano e tutto il mondo contradaiolo
Il torneo è in corso di svolgimento con la finale prevista per giovedì 29 Giugno. A prendere parte al torneo tutte e otto le contrade di Montepulciano divise in due gironi: nella prima sera si sono date battaglia le contrade di Voltaia, Collazzi, Cagnano e Coste, mentre nella seconda sera Talosa, Gracciano, Poggiolo e San Donato. Con gironi all’italiana, le prime due di ogni girone andranno a giocare la semifinale, le vincenti dalla semifinale si sfideranno per la finalissima. Ogni contrada ha potuto schierare da un minimo di due giocatori e a un massimo di sei, in squadre miste, in modo da coinvolgere più giocatori e giocatrici possibile.Con tanto entusiasmo da tutto il mondo contradaiolo, l’adesione alla competizione da parte di tutte le contrade è stata grande soprattutto perché l’iniziata è strettamente legata al ricordo di Fabrizio Contemori, il ‘Conte’ per tutti i poliziani. Animatore del mondo sociale e contradaiolo, in particolar modo della sua contrada Poggiolo, grande sportivo e infaticabile amico e collaboratore di tutti gli eventi di Montepulciano, Fabrizio è venuto a mancare quattro anni fa e che proprio in questi giorni ricorre l’anniversario della sua scomparsa. Proprio per rendere omaggio alla sua persona, in ricordo di Fabrizio, la contrada di Poggiolo offrirà i premi che andranno ai vincitori del Torneo.
Gli organizzatori del Primo Torneo di Padel delle Contrade si dicono contenti e soddisfatti dell’iniziativa e della grande collaborazione con il Magistrato delle Contrade, ma soprattutto dell’entusiasmo che si respira in queste sere al Padel Club di Montepulciano.
