Le attività didattiche e culturali a partire dal prossimo anno accademico Tanti: “La cultura elemento di ricchezza, coesione sociale e crescita della città” La richiesta è stata formalizzata dopo una serie di incontri interlocutori tra i vertici delle due istituzioni: oggi la giunta Ghinelli, su proposta dell’assessore Merelli, ha deliberato la concessione in uso gratuito dell’edificio dello Logge del Grano all’Università degli Studi di Siena.
Una decisione seguita alla richiesta di utilizzo dei locali da parte dell’Ateneo quale spazio aule integrativo, essenziale per l’organizzazione dell’attività didattica, e accordata dall’Amministrazione già a partire dal prossimo anno accademico 2023/2024. Secondo i programmi della stessa Università, l’immobile ospiterà le attività didattiche afferenti ai corsi di laurea e laurea magistrale di Lingue e Scienze dell’educazione, e al nuovo corso di laurea, attualmente nella fase progettuale inerente il turismo e le scienze della formazione primaria. Gli spazi ospiteranno anche le attività dei corsi di specializzazione per l’insegnamento, convegni nazionali e internazionali.
“Vogliamo ringraziare il Rettore dell’Università di Siena e in particolare la professoressa Simona Micali per aver dato un importante contributo di collaborazione grazie ad un accordo istituzionale che farà delle Logge del Grano una sede distaccata dell’Ateneo e un vero open space per gli studenti, i docenti e i ricercatori con un calendario non solo di lezioni, ma anche di convegni e seminari. Arezzo entra così nel circuito delle città europee dove lo studio, la ricerca e la cultura in particolar modo legati all’università vivono nel cuore del centro della città e diventano un presidio di cultura, formazione e coesione sociale”, commentano il vice sindaco Tanti, che ha tenuto in questi mesi i rapporti con l’università, e gli assessori Merelli e Chierici.
