Quasi 400 persone hanno partecipato alla terza edizione del Raduno nazionale di escursionismo adattato del Club alpino italiano “A ruota libera”, organizzata nelle giornate di ieri e di oggi a La Spezia. Una vera festa della montagna inclusiva, che ha dimostrato come il Club alpino italiano nelle sue attività non intenda lasciare indietro nessuno. Stamane si sono svolte le due escursioni in programma sul Colle del Telegrafo, nel Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, alle quali hanno partecipato 62 persone con disabilità insieme ai loro accompagnatori e a persone interessate al tema dell’accessibilità nell’ambiente montano.21 di loro, con mobilità ridotta, sono state accompagnate sulle Joëlette (carrozzine monoruota pensate per persone con disabilità motoria, in grado di percorrere i sentieri grazie all’aiuto di almeno due accompagnatori), 4 hanno partecipato con i tandem Mtb e 5 con le handbike Mtb. Le altre, con altre tipologie di disabilità, non necessitavano di ausili con i quali essere accompagnate. Il ministro per le Disabilità Alessandra Locatelli ha inviato un messaggio di saluto ai partecipanti, evidenziando l’importanza di momenti di partecipazione e inclusione come il 3° Raduno nazionale di escursionismo adattato del Cai. «Oggi la sfida che abbiamo davanti a noi è esattamente questa: mettere in campo azioni concrete per garantire a ogni persona la possibilità di vivere una vita piena, dignitosa e partecipata, come ci chiede la Convenzione Onu sui diritti delle persone con disabilità. Momenti di incontro e di festa come questo sono, quindi, fondamentali per assicurare tale diritto a tutte e a tutti», ha scritto il ministro nella lettera. «Vi sono, quindi profondamente grata e mi complimento per l’iniziativa che avete promosso e che saprà regalare momenti di gioia e spensieratezza ai partecipanti e agli accompagnatori, ma soprattutto per l’impegno e la passione che vi guidano». l lungo serpentone colorato degli escursionisti stamattina si è immerso nella vegetazione di pino marittimo, leccio, corbezzoli ed erica arborea, con panorami che spaziavano dal Golfo de La Spezia e il litorale aspro delle Cinque Terre. «Ringrazio i nostri volontari che, con il proprio impegno e la propria passione, rendono possibile un’attività meravigliosa come l’accompagnamento sui sentieri delle persone con disabilità, rendendo la montagna sempre più inclusiva», ha affermato il Presidente generale del Cai Antonio Montani. «La Montagnaterapia è un nostro fiore all’occhiello, che continuerà a crescere insegnandoci che ognuno di noi, nessuno escluso, deve cercare di raggiungere e magari superare il proprio limite. Dove si collochi questo limite non è importante».Il Raduno si è aperto nella giornata di sabato con i partecipanti che sono stati coinvolti in un tour in battello nel golfo de La Spezia e in un tour guidato del centro storico della città.Nel corso della due giorni sono intervenuti portando il proprio saluto l’on Maria Grazia Frija, Deputato e vicesindaco de La Spezia, il sindaco Pierluigi Peracchini, l’assessore comunale allo Sport Marco Frascatore, l’assessore comunale alle Politiche Sociali Lorenzo Brogi, il direttore del Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre Patrizio Scarpellini e l’assessore regionale alla protezione civile Giacomo Raul Giampedrone.
Per il Club alpino italiano erano presenti il presidente generale Antonio Montani, la vicepresidente generale Laura Colombo, la referente per la Montagnaterapia della Commissione centrale escursionismo Ornella Giordana, il coordinatore del Gruppo giovani Stefano Morcelli, il presidente del Cai Liguria Roberto Manfredi e il presidente della Sezione de La Spezia Alessandro Bacchioni.
La terza edizione di “A ruota libera” è stata organizzata dal Cai La Spezia, insieme alla Commissione centrale escursionismo e al Gruppo regionale Liguria del Club alpino italiano, con il supporto del Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre, della Regione Liguria e del Comune de La Spezia.
