Queste le parole del sindaco Fabrizio Innocenti intervenuto all’incontro che si è svolto stamane alla presenza degli assessori regionali Stefania Saccardi per la Toscana e Roberto Morroni per l’Umbria, assieme ad alcuni sindaci del comprensorio Valtiberino con i vertici di E.A.U.T. ente che gestisce l’infrastruttura.
“Siamo in dirittura d’arrivo per quanto riguarda la conclusione dei lavori del muro di sfioro che crollò oltre 11 anni fa. Un cantiere imponente in piena attività lavorativa. Da tempo attendevamo questo momento. Ci auspichiamo che l’ultimazione del concio mancante e le conseguenti operazioni di collaudo, diano modo in breve tempo a questo bacino artificiale di tornare ad operare a pieno regime.
Ringraziamo per quanto fatto in questi ultimi anni dal presidente uscente di E.A.U.T Domenico Caprini e ci auguriamo che la regione toscana scelga un candidato della Valtiberina come nuovo presidente dell’ente. E’ importante che sia una figura del nostro comprensorio a ricoprire questo incarico, che possa conoscere al meglio peculiarità, caratteristiche ed esigenze del territorio per gestire al meglio e consapevolmente ogni dinamica amministrativa.”
