La comunità di Bagno di Bagno di Romagna si appresta a celebrare il Giorno della Memoria, ricorrenza internazionale celebrata il 27 gennaio di ogni anno per commemorare le vittime dell’Olocausto. l Giorno della memoria rappresenta per l’amministrazione comunale un momento importante per promuovere eventi culturali per i giovani studenti e l’intera cittadinanza. Venerdì 26 gennaio i ragazzi della scuola secondaria di I grado M. Valgimigli assisteranno al film “L’ultima volta che siamo stati bambini” a Teatro Garibaldi, mentre i ragazzi del Liceo A. Righi tratteranno il tema a scuola impegnati nella settimana di educazione civica
Venerdì 26 gennaio alle 20:30 è in programma una proiezione gratuita aperta alla cittadinanza del film “L’ultima volta che siamo stati bambini” di e con Claudio Bisio. Roma, estate 1943, la guerra attanaglia Roma e le bombe esplodono tutto intorno. In questo scenario quattro bambini condividono una grande amicizia. Quando uno di loro, ebreo, viene portato via dai tedeschi, i suoi amici si mettono in viaggio per riportarlo a casa… Domenica 28 e lunedì 29 gennaio a Teatro Garibaldi alle 20:45 andrà in scena “Una piccola storia di guerra e di speranza”, spettacolo a offerta libera a cura di Milena Crociani e dalle ragazze della Compagnia Teatro di Latta: una mamma, insieme alle sue figlie, cerca di sbarcare il lunario nel pieno della seconda guerra mondiale. Le figlie, affamate, di notte decidono di scappare di casa per andare a rubare al vicino di casa una gallina e una capra. Tra miseria e bombe, la storia accompagnata dal maestro Stefano Battistini, violoncellista….e il finale, come sempre una sorpresa. “Ripercorrere quel dolore, nel Giorno della Memoria – affermano il sindaco Marco Baccini e l’assessore Enrica Lazzari – significa rendere onore anche da parte della nostra comunità alle vittime della Shoah, ma soprattutto ricordare e affermare con convinzione che ciò che è stato non si può tacere, non si può ignorare e tantomeno dimenticare.” “La testimonianza deve diventare un’azione concreta, giorno dopo giorno in difesa delle vittime dell’intolleranza attraverso la tutela di ogni forma di discriminazione e di violenza, soprattutto in uno scenario attuale che riguarda fenomeni di migrazione sempre più complesse, profughi e i rifugiati, fughe di massa e migliaia di morti in mare e terra che sono il danno collaterale di una serie di guerre. È proprio partendo dall’educazione dei nostri giovani a non essere indifferenti, che si può coltivare una solidarietà verso chi richiede aiuto o semplicemente verso chi appare diverso da noi, la celebrazione di questa ricorrenza comporta un impegno concreto per prendere consapevolezza di ciò che è accaduto, affinché il ricordo non possa essere cancellato.” Il programma 2024 è reso possibile grazie al sostegno e alla collaborazione del Cinema Eliseo, della Compagnia Teatro di Latta, dell’Istituto Storico della Resistenza di Forlì-Cesena e di Anpi Alto Savio, oltre alla preziosa disponibilità dei professori e studenti degli istituti scolastici.
