L’assessore Guerri risponde all’interrogazione del consigliere Andrea Lignani Marchesani (Castello Civica), fornendo la tempistica dei lavori del cantiere lungo viale Nazario Sauro
“L’amministrazione comunale non ha preso in considerazione alcuna ipotesi di trasferimento del mercato settimanale del giovedì e del sabato lungo la nuova pista ciclopedonale della variante del Cassero. E’ in atto piuttosto una fase di concertazione del piano del mercato settimanale per garantire un equilibrio fra le istanze legittime dei commercianti e quelle altrettanto legittime degli ambulanti, rappresentati dall’associazione di categoria regionale”. L’assessore al Commercio e al Turismo Letizia Guerri ha risposto così in consiglio comunale all’interrogazione del capogruppo di Castello Civica Andrea Lignani Marchesani sull’eventuale trasferimento del mercato settimanale al termine dei lavori della variante del Cassero. In merito al cantiere della variante del Cassero, l’assessore ha reso noto che, in base alle informazioni pervenute dagli uffici tecnici del Comune, “i lavori per la realizzazione del nuovo tracciato stradale termineranno a giugno e successivamente inizieranno le opere del percorso ciclopedonale, che si protrarranno almeno fino a settembre, perché necessiteranno di tre mesi”. Nel far presente “l’esigenza di un aggiornamento sullo stato di avanzamento dei lavori, perché sembravano prossimi a un’accelerazione, ma in realtà ad oggi, almeno all’osservazione, sembrano abbastanza fermi”, Lignani Marchesani aveva chiesto di sapere se corrispondesse al vero la volontà dell’amministrazione comunale di “trasferire all’interno della carreggiata interna della variante del Cassero, in quella che oggi è una via di transito veicolare ma che domani dovrebbe diventare una sorta di pista ciclopedonale, il mercato del giovedì e del sabato attualmente delle piazze del centro storico”. “Una cosa sarebbe infatti trasferire lì mercato ortofrutticolo che oggi insiste sull’altro parcheggio fuori delle mura, altra cosa, invece, sarebbe dare un’ulteriore pugnalata al centro storico, spostando i banchi il giovedì e il sabato dalle piazze alla futura pista ciclopedonale”, ha puntualizzato Lignani Marchesani, segnalando gli interrogativi in merito di molti cittadini e operatori commerciali. L’assessore Guerri ha rimarcato che “l’ipotesi del consigliere Lignani Marchesani è infondata, perché non è mai stata in alcun modo nemmeno al vaglio, né dell’amministrazione comunale, né di altri soggetti decisori”. “E’ una soluzione che, dunque, non ha alcun riscontro dal punto di vista amministrativo – ha spiegato Guerri – di cui sono venuta a conoscenza solo attraverso questa interrogazione”. Nel prendere atto delle informazioni sulla tempistica dei lavori della variante del Cassero, il consigliere Lignani Marchesani ha quindi replicato: “ci fa molto piacere quello che dice l’assessore Guerri sul mercato settimanale, ne faremo assolutamente tesoro e faremo in modo di farlo sapere”. Il consigliere si è detto poi d’accordo sullo svolgimento di una concertazione per la dislocazione del mercato settimanale con tutti i soggetti coinvolti, evidenziando di non ravvisare “antitesi tra le diverse posizioni”. “Più opportunità insistono su un’area più possibilità di interscambio economico degli avventori ci possono essere” ha osservato Lignani Marchesani, riconoscendo che “è indubbiamente vero che nelle giornate di mercato ci sia un indotto per gli operatori della ristorazione e dei bar dovuto alla presenza degli ambulanti”.
