Il Comune di Sinalunga, partecipando all’avviso pubblico del Dipartimento delle Politiche per la famiglia “Educare in Comune”, si è aggiudicato, come unico Comune in tutta la regione Toscana, un importante contributo per l’attuazione di interventi progettuali che mirano a contrastare la povertà educativa e il sostegno delle opportunità culturali, formative ed educative dei minori. Dal mese di aprile dunque avranno avvio le prime fasi attuative del progetto, che verrà realizzato in collaborazione con I.C. “J. Lennon, UNICEF e altri soggetti appartenenti al terzo settore. Le risorse saranno impiegate per contrastare la povertà educativa e il sostegno allo sviluppo delle opportunità culturali di minorenni e adulti, ovvero, saranno attivati specifici percorsi per bambini e bambine a partire dai servizi dell’asilo nido, fino ad arrivare agli adulti con l’organizzazione di corsi di digitalizzazione di base. La stretta collaborazione con la Direzione didattica dell’I.C. “Johnn Lennon” permetterà all’amministrazione comunale di avere a disposizione locali idonei per tutte le attività, con una particolare attenzione anche nei confronti dei ragazzi e giovani diversamente abili. Un finanziamento questo, che riconosce al Comune di Sinalunga la crescente attenzione nei confronti del sociale, della scuola e della crescita socio culturale di tutti. “Educare in Comune” nasce con l’obiettivo di contrastare la povertà educativa e l’esclusione sociale dei bambini e dei ragazzi, acutizzata dall’emergenza da COVID-19. Sostenere e accompagnare la crescita delle nuove generazioni è un obiettivo condiviso dalle amministrazioni che hanno l’intento di promuovere modelli e servizi di welfare di comunità, consolidando le esperienze già presenti nei nostri territori e sostenendo i nuovi progetti. Lavorare in sinergia è necessario per contrastare un fenomeno di isolamento e di esclusione sociale.
