Da lunedì aprono i cantieri all’interno della struttura ospedaliera Dal 15 aprile prenderanno il via i lavori di adeguamento alla normativa antincendio dell’ospedale del Casentino. Lavori della durata di un anno che interesseranno l’intera struttura ospedaliera con il rifacimento della pavimentazione di alcune aree e l’adeguamento dell’impianto antincendio.
Gli interventi per rendere più sicuro l’ospedale sotto il profilo degli incendi richiedono l’accesso ai controsoffitti di tutti i corridoi della struttura. In considerazione della natura e della sede degli interventi, saranno necessarie rimodulazioni e trasferimenti temporanei interni all’ospedale delle attività sanitarie, che comporteranno la ridefinizione dei percorsi di accesso ai vari servizi. La direzione dell’ospedale del Casentino assicura che, nonostante la presenza dei lavori, sarà garantita l’erogazione di tutte le prestazioni. «Si tratta di interventi necessari alla sicurezza della struttura operdaliera che causeranno inevitabili disagi sia per gli operatori che per gli utenti – dichiara Barbara Innocenti Direttrice PO Aretino, Casentino, Valtiberina e Valdichiana Aretina –. Chiediamo comprensione e collaborazione da parte dei cittadini, considerando che i lavori sono indispensabili per la sicurezza della struttura ospedaliera e che saranno, inoltre, il primo importante passo per il rinnovamento cui andrà incontro nei prossimi anni». Oltre ai lavori di adeguamento antincendio di prossima partenza, all’ospedale di Bibbiena sono previsti altri tre interventi finanziati con i Fondi Pnrr-PNC per un importo complessivo di 11.129.683 euro e prevedono l’adeguamento sismico del padiglione vecchio, cioè dell’edificio realizzato nei primi anni del 1900, quello del padiglione nuovo, realizzato negli anni ‘90 del secolo scorso, e infine la realizzazione della Casa di Comunità di Bibbiena. Gli interventi previsti per adeguare la struttura alla normativa antisismica riguardano l’irrigidimento degli elementi strutturali dei due padiglioni oltre alla completa demolizione del corpo di fabbrica risalente agli anni ‘60 del secolo scorso e la completa ricostruzione di un nuovo edificio da destinare a Casa di Comunità e altri servizi.
