Milano – Corsi di formazione per gli insegnanti e attività in ambiente per promuovere la frequentazione sostenibile dei territori montani al centro delle iniziative del Cai dedicate al mondo della scuola
Ribadire il ruolo centrale dell’istruzione per raggiungere gli obiettivi indicati dalla Costituzione e attualizzati dall’Agenda 2030 è uno degli intenti del rinnovato Gruppo di lavoro del Club alpino italiano “Cai-Scuola” alla vigilia del nuovo anno scolastico. Il progetto Cai-Scuola, sviluppato con la collaborazione e il sostegno del Ministero dell’Istruzione e del Merito, dei Parchi e di altri enti dedicati, definisce e organizza da diversi anni attività di aggiornamento e formazione rivolte ai docenti delle scuole di ogni ordine e grado e iniziative in ambiente che coinvolgono le scolaresche, per promuovere la conoscenza e la tutela del patrimonio ambientale, culturale e sociale dei territori montani e delle popolazioni che li abitano. Attraverso la frequentazione consapevole rispettosa della montagna, il Cai guarda oggi alle azioni di contenimento e mitigazione della crisi climatica, per un progresso e una crescita sociale ed economica sostenibile dei territori montani. Il tutto con la convinzione che le esperienze in montagna facilitino nei più giovani l’acquisizione di conoscenze e competenze associate a valori e comportamenti essenziali per diventare cittadini attivi e responsabili. «Le buone pratiche del Cai, con le esperienze in ambiente, sui sentieri, nei rifugi e quelle laboratoriali, favoriscono un miglior apprendimento scolastico», afferma Giacomo Benedetti, Vicepresidente generale con delega al Cai-Scuola. «A noi interessa implementare il dialogo con la scuola, di ogni ordine e grado, per promuovere una conoscenza e una frequentazione consapevole, responsabile e sostenibile dell’ambiente in generale e della montagna in particolare». Le iniziative di settembre 2024 Dal 4 al 9 settembre a Valle di Primiero (TN) 50 docenti provenienti da tutta Italia parteciperanno al 67esimo Corso nazionale per insegnanti “Dolomiti Patrimonio Mondiale Unesco – Un racconto di paesaggi, uomini e rocce”, che prevede incontri frontali e attività escursionistiche, con pernottamento ai 2570 metri di quota del rifugio Rosetta, nel Parco naturale Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino. A settembre inizieranno i progetti di “Turismo sostenibile montano in ambito scolastico” realizzati quest’anno dalle Sezioni del Club alpino italiano in collaborazione con gli istituti scolatici di ogni ordine e grado, sostenuti dal Cai centrale con un fondo di 100mila euro.Le iniziative coinvolgono 70 istituti scolastici di 14 regioni e si incentrano su mobilità sostenibile, Rete Natura 2000 e sistema delle Aree protette nazionali e regionali. Il 16 settembre prenderà il via a Orvieto “Strade Maestre”, progetto educativo sostenuto dal Cai basato su un lungo e lento viaggio da parte sette ragazze e ragazzi delle scuole superiori tra i 17 e i 18 anni, accompagnati da tre insegnanti, che cammineranno per oltre mille chilometri attraverso l’Italia, fino a giugno del 2025. Le iniziative di ottobre 2024 Il mese di ottobre vedrà, dal 7 al 13, l’edizione 2024 della Settimana del Sentiero Italia CAI per la Scuola, con centinaia di alunni e insegnanti che percorreranno un tratto dell’itinerario escursionistico che unisce tutte le regioni italiane, isole comprese, attraverso la dorsale appenninica e l’arco alpino. Dal 9 al 13 ottobre si terrà a Fiuggi (FR) l’ultimo corso di formazione per gli insegnanti del 2024, intitolato “Il Medioevo in Ciociaria – Un cammino nella storia tra boschi, borghi e abbazie”, con approfondimenti tematici tra ambienti naturali e misticismo. Ottobre vedrà inoltre la fase finale di “Energy – Agire a scuola per l’ambiente”, progetto che vede tra i promotori anche il Cai con l’obiettivo di promuovere nei giovani azioni, comportamenti e forme di partecipazione attiva volti alla tutela dell’ambiente, alla lotta agli squilibri climatici e alla mitigazione dell’impatto antropico sull’ambiente naturale. Le iniziative di novembre e dicembre 2024 Il 30 novembre e il primo dicembre ad Alessandria il Cai organizza il Forum Giovani, due giornate di riflessione e approfondimento sul tema “montagna e future generazioni”. Le iniziative si concluderanno con l’11 dicembre, Giornata Internazionale della Montagna, sintesi e proiezione delle azioni Cai-Scuola, tra contemporaneità e futuro.
