PROVINCIA DI AREZZO, LAVORI ALL’ITIS GALILEI PER OLTRE 5 MILIONI E MEZZO DI EURO

La Provincia non si ferma per l’imminente inizio del nuovo anno scolastico, ed è incentrata sulle reali esigenze delle dei territori in particolare su scuole, infrastrutture e viabilità. Il piano provinciale degli investimenti nell’Edilizia scolastica del Presidente Alessandro Polcri, e della sua maggioranza consiliare, prevede un processo di ammodernamento e di messa in sicurezza degli edifici che accolgono 16.782 studenti degli istituti di istruzione superiore. Sono partiti infatti i lavori di ristrutturazione e ampliamento nella sede centrale ITIS “Galileo Galilei” di Arezzo, ed attualmente sono 1.428 gli alunni che frequentano l’Istituto Tecnico Industriale.

L’intervento comporta la demolizione e la ricostruzione con ampliamento dell’ala prospiciente via Piero della Francesca. L’ala sarà completamente riedificata passando dagli attuali 2.000 a 3.800 metri quadrati di superficie utile, in modo da ampliare le dotazioni della scuola che sarà riedificata con struttura in legno e dotazioni impiantistiche finalizzate ad ottenere un edificio ad elevata prestazione energetica. Il progetto è finanziato con fondi del Ministero dell’Istruzione, della Provincia e prevalentemente fondi PNRR per un investimento complessivo pari ad € 5.574.917,68. Il termine dei lavori è previsto entro il 2025
