Arezzo ISDE Italia organizza il Congresso Nazionale 2024: “Chi pagherà per gli eccessi di malattie e mortalità dovuti alla crisi climatica e dei sistemi sanitari?” ISDE Italia annuncia il suo Congresso Nazionale 2024, che si terrà presso l’Auditorium della Sede Direzionale Aboca a Sansepolcro (AR) dal 18 al 20 ottobre 2024. Il congresso, dal titolo provocatorio “Chi pagherà per gli eccessi di malattie e mortalità dovuti alla crisi del clima e dei sistemi sanitari? La politica ascolti la scienza o metterà a rischio salute e benessere”, affronterà temi di estrema rilevanza legati alla crisi climatica e sanitaria che stanno colpendo il nostro Paese e il mondo intero.
La triplice crisi climatica, ambientale e della biodiversità, combinata con il collasso del sistema sanitario pubblico, ha creato una situazione di gravità senza precedenti. Mentre i sistemi di prevenzione e cura dovrebbero essere al massimo della loro efficienza, si trovano invece al livello più basso mai registrato. Scienziati e professionisti del settore sanitario avvertono che, se non si agisce immediatamente, una nuova pandemia o eventi climatici estremi potrebbero avere conseguenze catastrofiche. Il congresso rappresenta un’occasione fondamentale per scienziati, medici, politici e professionisti del settore sanitario di discutere strategie per affrontare queste sfide. I partecipanti esamineranno come la politica debba basarsi su evidenze scientifiche per migliorare la salute pubblica e il benessere, e come la prevenzione primaria e un sistema sanitario sostenibile siano più che mai necessari. finestra temporale per intervenire sul cambiamento climatico si sta rapidamente chiudendo, e ogni ritardo può provocare ulteriori perdite in termini di vite umane e danni immani. La politica non può più ignorare queste realtà,” ha dichiarato Roberto Romizi Presidente di ISDE Italia.
Il Congresso, come di consueto, sarà articolato in varie sezioni tematiche:
- Verso una strategia europea sugli interferenti endocrini
- Per un servizio sanitario sostenibile orientato alla prevenzione primaria
- La formazione universitaria su ambiente e salute
- Inquinamento atmosferico: progetto nazionale ISDE Italia 2024-2025
- Strumenti operativi per le valutazioni preventive di impatto ambientale sulla salute
- Il ruolo dei medici per l’ambiente
- Scienza e advocacy
