Arte di strada, Circo, Sostenibilità e Comunità, queste parole descrivono Torbeleria, la prima edizione del festival che il 30 novembre e il 1° dicembre trasformerà la piazza di Largo Mengaroni, cuore del quartiere di Tor Bella Monaca, in un palcoscenico a cielo aperto.
Promosso da Roma Capitale – Gabinetto del Sindaco, Ufficio di scopo Giubileo delle Persone e Partecipazione e realizzato dall’ associazione Cubo Libro in collaborazione con numerose realtà locali firmatarie del Patto di Largo Mengaroni e con il Kollatino Underground. La rassegna è frutto dell’unione dello spirito ecologista, l’attenzione all’ambiente, l’amore per le arti di strada e la convinzione che il potenziale di cura, bellezza e meraviglia può trasformare il più arido dei contesti. Interamente gratuita e organizzata nel rispetto dell’ambiente, adottando pratiche zero waste e promuovendo la mobilità sostenibile, il festival offrirà spettacoli circensi, laboratori creativi, e attività pensate per coinvolgere tutte le generazioni, rafforzando i legami comunitari e dimostrando che l’arte può servire per saltare, giocando, le barriere sociali e culturali.
Gli spettacoli, i debutti, le artiste e gli artisti
Tra i protagonisti il duo Creme & Brulè che presenta il debutto nazionale dello spettacolo Kitsune, la volpe e il demone, una fiaba ispirata al folklore giapponese raccontata il sabato 30 alle ore 16; Donatella Morabito, che veste i panni di Bon Bon Rouge ‘na scarpa e ‘na panchina, uno spettacolo esilarante di circo teatro, clownerie e improvvisazione. Il giorno seguente è dedicato ai sogni e all’irriverenza e al cauto cinismo tipico del grande protagonista dell’arte circense: il pagliaccio. Attraverso Papaky con i ritratti dei sogni, un personaggio clown itinerante alla ricerca di un corpo da ritrarre dell’artista poliedrica e poetica Alessia Muntoni La Nuvola Girovaga seguita dall ironico spettacolo Cocò Clown, all’anagrafe Nicola Danesi de Luca, che trasporteranno il pubblico in una dimensione onirica e fiabesca, frammentata da ironia acida. Il programma prevede anche laboratori creativi come la costruzione di strumenti circensi realizzati con materiali di recupero e attività di piccolo circo curate dalla Compagnia delle Bollicine. Il tutto sarà accompagnato dall’esposizione di prodotti ed esperienze condivise dalle numerose associazioni e dalle realtà coinvolte. Un progetto di comunità e sostenibilità questo evento si inserisce nel percorso di rigenerazione culturale e sociale che dal 2008 anima Largo Mengaroni, in particolare grazie alla comunità del Patto di Collaborazione di Largo Mengaroni. Le attività non si limitano al divertimento ma mirano a consolidare il legame tra le associazioni, le scuole, e i cittadini del quartiere, con l’obiettivo di rendere la piazza un centro stabile per l’arte di strada e la creatività giovanile.
Impatto ambientale ridotto nell’utilizzo di attrezzature alimentate ad energia solare e materiali ecocompatibili, limitando al minimo i rifiuti. Gli allestimenti saranno realizzati con materiali di riciclo e il programma cartaceo sarà stampato solo su supporti riciclati o riutilizzabili.
