L’assessore ai Servizi Sociali e alla Protezione Civile Calagreti risponde al capogruppo di Fi Campagni in consiglio comunale: “L’amministrazione comunale sta completando la ricognizione degli oltre 100 defibrillatori installati nel territorio per realizzare una mappatura interattiva che possa essere consultata in tempo reale dai cittadini sul portale istituzionale dell’ente”.

Per questo stiamo predisponendo pure dei corsi di formazione rivolti alla cittadinanza, perché è importante sapere dove si trovano questi dispositivi, ma è anche fondamentale saperli usare”. E’ quanto ha dichiarato l’assessore ai Servizi Sociali e alla Protezione Civile Benedetta Calagreti, rispondendo in consiglio comunale all’interrogazione del capogruppo di FI Tommaso Campagni, che chiedeva conto dell’esistenza di “una mappatura per individuare le zone in cui è presente un defibrillatore semiautomatico esterno (DAE) e quelle che risultano scoperte”. Il rappresentante della minoranza aveva domandato anche “quali siano gli intendimenti dell’amministrazione comunale per garantire un contributo fattivo su tale tematica, molto rilevante per la salute e la vita dei cittadini” e se l’ente avesse intenzione di “intraprendere una campagna di sensibilizzazione che stimoli il mondo del pubblico, del privato, dell’associazionismo a contribuire nell’investimento su questi dispositivi e nel fornire alla cittadinanza una corretta informazione sull’importanza di fare corsi funzionali all’utilizzo di questa tecnologia”. “E’ fattibile la creazione di un tavolo di lavoro periodico con la presenza di associazioni di categoria, forze dell’ordine e volontariato per monitorare lo stato dell’arte?”, aveva chiesto Campagni, rimarcando l’importanza di monitorare la situazione, in considerazione di “dati che dimostrano come in Italia le malattie cardiovascolari siano la causa di oltre il 41 per cento dei decessi, mentre le morti cardiache improvvise, quando il decesso avviene entro un’ora dall’insorgenza dei sintomi, colpiscono ogni anno tra i 45.000 e i 60.000 italiani”. L’assessore Calagreti ha ripercorso le tappe dell’iniziativa dell’amministrazione comunale sul versante della mappatura delle postazioni che ospitano defibrillatori, ricordando come nel 2019 l’allora assessore Luciana Bassini avesse avviato “una ricognizione dei DAE interpellando le associazioni che nel corso degli anni avevano donato i dispositivi e mappando le attrezzature accessibili H24, quindi senza limitazioni di orari”. “Nel 2022 abbiamo ripreso e portato avanti questo percorso con le associazioni per mappare anche i dispositivi con accesso limitato, quelli che si trovano nelle palestre delle scuole o in altri luoghi non sempre disponibili, raccogliendo in questo senso anche le indicazioni della Regione che chiedeva di completare la ricognizione”, ha aggiunto l’assessore. “Il Servizio Sistemi Informativi e Telematici del Comune ha predisposto un link per permettere alle associazioni interessate di inserire in autonomia i dati riguardanti i dispositivi e tenerli anche aggiornati”, ha riferito Calagreti, che ha spiegato: “le informazioni che abbiamo richiesto presentano una certa complessità, perché sono specifiche e riguardano anche l’indicazione delle persone che sono abilitate a utilizzare i defibrillatori e di coloro ai quali è affidata la manutenzione periodica indispensabile per garantirne l’efficienza, quindi ci rendiamo conto che i tempi di compilazione si allungano inevitabilmente”. “Siamo quasi addirittura d’arrivo – ha quindi precisato – e contiamo di disporre nei prossimi mesi di tutti i dati necessari a realizzare la mappatura interattiva”. Il consigliere Campagni ha preso di nuovo la parola per testimoniare l’apprezzamento per l’impegno dell’amministrazione comunale finalizzato a completare il progetto, invitando a favorire l’installazione di dispositivi nelle aree che risultassero scoperte o non servite da postazione attive 24 ore su 24.
