Secondo concerto del Festival Musicale Internazionale e Giornata Internazionale dei Diritti della Donna

Arezzo, Venerdì 7 marzo alle 21 è in programma alla Casa Museo Ivan Bruschi il secondo concerto del Festival Musicale Internazionale. Protagonista il vincitore del Concorso pianistico di Leeds del 2024, il venticinquenne pianista canadese Jaeden Izik-Dzurko, insignito della Medaglia d’oro Dame Fanny Waterman

Pochi mesi prima del suo trionfo a Leeds, Jaeden è diventato il primo vincitore canadese del Gran Premio in un’edizione strumentale del Concours musical international de Montréal (CMIM) nel maggio 2024. Attualmente Izik-Dzurko studia con Jacob Leuschner alla Hochschule für Musik Detmold e con Benedetto Lupo all’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. Dzurko è stato celebrato da pubblico, critica e compositori per la sua forza comunicativa, la raffinata padronanza tecnica e la maturità artistica. Un’occasione imperdibile per ascoltare musiche di Johann Sebastian Bach, Rachmaninov, Chopin e Scriabin.

Sabato 8 marzo, in occasione della Giornata Internazionale dei Diritti della Donna, la Fondazione Ivan Bruschi offre a tutte le donne l’opportunità di visitare la Casa Museo a prezzo ridotto, in linea con le Gallerie d’Italia, polo museale di Intesa Sanpaolo. All’interno del Museo sarà proiettato il video “Le monete come veicolo di moda”, a cura di Franca Maria Vanni, consulente della Sezione Numismatica della Fondazione Ivan Bruschi. Il filmato racconta di come le monete fossero utilizzate dalle imperatrici romane per diffondere le nuove tendenze in fatto di acconciature attraverso i loro ritratti che vi erano incisi. Una curiosa e poco conosciuta testimonianza dell’idea di bellezza femminile in età classica. Alle 17 sempre sabato 8 marzo è previsto un concerto a ingresso libero di musica classica, organizzato in collaborazione con l’Orchestra Giovanile di Arezzo e il Liceo Musicale di Arezzo.
