AREZZO – Riconoscere e prevenire truffe e reati contro il patrimonio. E’ quanto propone il programma di incontri organizzato dal Comune di Arezzo in collaborazione con la Fondazione Arezzo Comunità e la partecipazione dell’Arma dei Carabinieri e della Polizia Municipale, e che a partire dal 4 aprile e fino al 6 giugno interesserà con una specifica calendarizzazione i centri di aggregazione sociale di Chiassa Superiore, Giotto, Fiorentina, Quarata, Santa Firmina
Gli incontri dedicati alla prevenzione delle truffe agli anziani e ai reati contro il patrimonio sono curati direttamente dagli ufficiali dell’Arma dei Carabinieri con la partecipazione della Polizia Municipale. Nel corso degli appuntamenti saranno illustrate le tecniche utilizzate dai malviventi per indurre le vittime a consegnare denaro od oggetti preziosi nonché semplici accorgimenti utili per la prevenzione del reato stesso durante la fase esecutiva. Questo il programma: 4 aprile Circolo Chiassa Superiore, 11 aprile CAS Giotto, 9 maggio CAS Fiorentina, 23 maggio CAS Quarata, 6 giugno CAS Santa Firmina. Tutti gli incontri si terranno alle ore 21:00. “Altre cinque tappe insieme all’Arma dei Carabinieri e alla Polizia Municipale, per un approfondimento su tutti quelli che sono gli strumenti che i cittadini devono avere per essere essi stessi un presidio contro le truffe, vero e proprio flagello di questi ultimi anni. Un progetto che si collega a quell’idea di sicurezza partecipata che l’Amministrazione sta proseguendo con le Forze dell’ordine e che da una parte è strumento di attenzione e dall’altra si collega al massiccio impegno di messa a dimora delle telecamere di sorveglianza. Oggi nel nostro territorio se ne contano oltre 490 per un investimento superiore ai 2 milioni di euro e con l’impegno di un ulteriore potenziamento del sistema che prevede l’installazione di altri dispositivi a Quarata e a Palazzo del Pero”, ha dichiarato il vicesindaco e presidente della Fondazione Arezzo Comunità Lucia Tanti. “Abbiamo sposato il progetto di sicurezza partecipata promosso dal Comune, sia a livello di formazione che a livello di informazione del cittadino, nella convinzione che proprio questa forma di collaborazione induca ad aumentare il livello di percezione della sicurezza. Il fenomeno delle truffe ai danni delle fasce più deboli della popolazione necessita sempre più di una adeguata conoscenza delle tecniche utilizzate dai truffatori per portare a compimento tali reati: gli incontri presso offriranno l’occasione per illustrare le tecniche utilizzate dai malfattori e per dare semplici accorgimenti utili per la prevenzione del reato stesso”, ha commentato il Comandante provinciale dell’Arma dei Carabinieri Claudio Rubertà. “Il tema delle truffe online è stato uno degli argomenti principali affrontati dai progetti Nonni digitali e Digitale al Centro organizzati per dare informazioni utili e consigli pratici sulla conoscenza di base di computer e smartphone ma anche, e specificatamente, sulla sicurezza informatica per proteggersi proprio dalle truffe online e navigare in sicurezza sul web. Oggi più di sempre è importante sapersi tutelare da forme sempre più raffinate di raggiro che proprio in rete si stanno moltiplicando”, ha sottolineato l’assessore Monica Manneschi. “La Polizia Municipale è attiva nel lavoro di prevenzione, la migliore arma contro le truffe, e non solo a tutela degli anziani ma dell’intera popolazione. Un impegno costante e che richiede sempre maggiore attenzione anche in considerazione della diversificazione dei sistemi messi in atto dai truffatori che oggi si spingono anche fino all’uso dell’intelligenza artificiale. Il bisogno di sicurezza si fa sempre più diffuso tra la popolazione e questo ci mette nella condizione di impegnarci sempre di più nella nostra attività di prossimità”, ha aggiunto il Comandante della PM Aldo Poponcini.
