AREZZO – Un folto pubblico era presente per l’inaugurazione del busto di Pietro Nenni, politico, giornalista e leader storico del Partito Socialista Italiano, che si è svolta domenica 6 aprile 2025 prima nell’Auditorium dell’Ospedale San Donato di Arezzo e quindi nell’area verde che fa da spartitraffico in via Nenni, di fronte al nosocomio eretino.

Dopo i saluti di Alessandro Giustini dell’associazione Socialisti Aretini e Alessandro Caporali dell’associazione culturale “Pietro Nenni” di Ponte alla Chiassa, ha preso la parola Valdo Spini, già vicesegretario nazionale del Partito Socialista Italiano, che ha tratteggiato un esauriente profilo di Pietro Nenni e della sua importanza nel panorama politico del Novecento italiano. A seguire sono intervenuti Lucia Tanti, vicensindaco di Arezzo, e Pierpaolo Fontana Nenni, nipote del politico scomparso nel 1980, che ha parlato a nome della Fondazione Pietro Nenni di Roma. Il giornalista culturale e curatore Marco Botti ha illustrato ai presenti l’arte e la carriera di Ilinep, fondatore nel 2011 nel movimento riflessista, prima dei saluti finali dell’artista e il taglio del nastro.
