Con una interrogazione al sindaco e alla Giunta comunale, il consigliere del PD Roberto Brunelli chiede di conoscere quali misure siano previste per potenziamento del reparto di Ortopedia e Traumatologia dell’Ospedale di Città di Castello
Il consigliere del PD Roberto Brunelli ha presentato un’interrogazione per chiedere al sindaco Luca Secondi e alla Giunta comunale “quali misure urgenti si intendano adottare per potenziare il reparto di Ortopedia e Traumatologia dell’Ospedale di Città di Castello, con particolare riferimento all’aumento dei posti letto, all’aumento degli spazi operatori e del personale infermieristico ortopedico specializzato nella gestione delle urgenze-emergenze traumatologiche”. Nel ricordare come “l’ospedale di Città di Castello sia classificato come Centro Traumatologico di Zona (CTZ) e svolga un ruolo cruciale nell’assistenza ai pazienti traumatizzati, in particolare nel campo dell’ortopedia”, l’esponente della maggioranza consiliare segnala come si sia registrato “un significativo aumento dei ricoveri traumatologici provenienti dalla zona del Lago Trasimeno, con conseguente sovraccarico del reparto di Ortopedia”. “Come si intende definire un percorso assistenziale specifico e ottimizzato per i pazienti chirurgici provenienti dalla zona del Lago Trasimeno, al fine di ridurre i tempi di degenza e migliorare l’efficienza del reparto?”, domanda Brunelli, che aggiunge: “quali investimenti sono previsti per potenziare il già ottimo reparto di Ortopedia portandolo ad un centro di eccellenza per tutta la regione?”. Facendo presente come “l’attuale dotazione di posti letto e personale medico e paramedico potrebbe non essere sufficiente a fronteggiare l’aumento della domanda” e che “è di fondamentale importanza garantire la presenza di personale infermieristico specializzato nella gestione delle urgenze e emergenze traumatologiche”, il consigliere del PD chiede al primo cittadino e alla Giunta comunale se non si ritenga opportuno “attivare un tavolo di concertazione permanente tra Regione Umbria, Comune di Città di Castello, Azienda Sanitaria Locale e Direzione del Presidio Ospedaliero, al fine di monitorare costantemente la situazione e adottare le misure necessarie per garantire un servizio efficiente e di qualità”.
