Presenti con quasi 30 atleti, la società aretina , nonostante alcune defezioni importanti è riuscita ad ottenere un prestigioso 7° posto ai Campionati Italiani di società nella Mezzamaratona marchigiana. La squadra aretina era composta in campo Maschile da : Pastorini -Bettarelli-Annetti-Ciambriello-Landucci-Lisi-Luccero-Maccari-Manco-Martino-Monacchini-Monnanni-Orsi-Nespoli-Ragazzini-Sapone-Scaglia-Serboli-Serluca-Sinatti-Sisi-Volpi
In campo Femminile da Boncompagni e Picchirilli.
Grazie alle prestazioni che ognuno di questi atleti è riuscito a realizzare, abbiamo raggiunto un traguardo importante con oltre 2.000 partecipanti in rappresentanza di 191 società italiane. Le condizioni meteo perfette nel lungomare di San Benedetto hanno permesso al vincitore, il keniano Kedir di ottenere un eccellente risultato di 1h02.28 staccando di quasi 5’ l’italiano Massimi ed il marocchino Benhamdan, ottimo il 16° posto dell’aretino Pastorini (1° di Categoria) con il tempo di 1h10.15.
In campo femminile la vittoria è andata all’italiana Bulf con il tempo di 1h17.59 davanti a Martinelli e Tamburi .
In questa occasione è salita sul podio classificandosi al 3° posto della propria categoria Emanuela Picchirilli con il tempo di 1h38.05. Mentre si correva la Mezzamaratona dei Fiori a San Benedetto, altri atleti sono saliti alla ribalta in campo nazionale : a Scoglitti (Sicilia) Simon Loitanyang vinceva la Mezzamaratona in 1h08.02
a Rimini Mario Antonini completava la sua 1^ Maratona giungendo 13° assoluto e 1° di Categoria con il tempo di 2h54,27
altri risultati importanti alla maratona di Milano Alessandro Tartaglini ha ottenuto un ottimo tempo di 2h37.35 mentre Marco Menonna 2h49.21. Prossimo appuntamento con la corsa ,Lunedi di Pasquetta con la 23^ edizione della Parcocorsa corsa nei parchi della città con partenza e arrivo presso il Centro Sociale di Pescaiola-Parco Foro Boario.
