FIRENZE – da Fondazione Foemina e Fondazione CR Firenze in collaborazione con l’Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi. Un progetto inclusivo per garantire cure accessibili e dignitose a tutte le donne
Oggi è stato inaugurato a Firenze il Polo Fiorenza, il nuovo polo per la Salute Ostetrico-Ginecologica della Donna con Disabilità , un innovativo spazio dedicato alla salute femminile, promosso da Fondazione CR Firenze e Fondazione Foemina ETS, in collaborazione con l’Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi. Il nuovo Polo sorge al piano interrato del padiglione 7 presso la maternità di Careggi, negli spazi che già ospitano l’Ambulatorio Rosa Point, e rappresenta un importante potenziamento dell’offerta sanitaria rivolta alle donne con disabilità motorie, sensoriali e intellettive. «Fondazione CR Firenze ha creduto e sostenuto questo progetto fin dalla sua ideazione – afferma Maria Oliva Scaramuzzi, Vice Presidente di Fondazione CR Firenze – perché promuove uno dei nostri valori più importanti: l’inclusività. Il Polo Fiorenza rappresenta un passo concreto verso una sanità che riconosce le differenze non come ostacoli ma come dimensioni da accogliere e rispettare. Siamo orgogliosi di inaugurare oggi, insieme a Fondazione Foemina e l’AOU di Careggi che voglio ringraziare, questi accoglienti spazi pensati per offrire alle donne con disabilità un accesso equo, dignitoso e personalizzato alle cure. È un progetto che incarna pienamente la nostra visione di comunità: attenta, solidale, capace di prendersi cura delle fragilità con competenza e umanità». «Questo progetto nasce dalla consapevolezza che l’accesso alla salute non può essere uguale per tutti, se non si parte dal riconoscere e accogliere le differenze – spiega il Prof. Felice Petraglia Presidente di Fondazione Foemina – Il Polo Fiorenza sarà un luogo pensato per offrire non solo cure, ma soprattutto rispetto, accoglienza e dignità a ogni paziente». Un ambiente ospedaliero che accoglie e non che escludeIl nuovo spazio è stato pensato in un’ottica inclusiva, per far sentire a casa tutte le pazienti e abbattere la distanza che si crea negli spazi ospedalieri. Gli ambienti sono totalmente accessibili, arredati e strutturati in modo da permettere alle donne di muoversi in autonomia e conservare la propria privacy. Il personale è un team dedicato e formato adeguatamente per poter accogliere pazienti con bisogni specifici di salute e tutti gli spazi sono stati riadattati per facilitare la relazione informale e paritaria tra paziente e staff dell’ospedale. Progettato dall’architetto Virginia Serrani dello studio DSP Srl, il nuovo spazio è stato concepito con un approccio innovativo, attento a ogni aspetto dell’accessibilità: dalla segnaletica tattile ai colori tenui, dagli stimoli sensoriali all’arredamento inclusivo, fino ai percorsi agevolati e al personale adeguatamente formato per l’accoglienza delle donne che vi si rivolgeranno. La Direzione di Careggi ringrazia la Fondazione Foemina e la Fondazione CR Firenze per il contributo alla realizzazione del Polo Fiorenza, una struttura che migliora l’accessibilità, la fruizione degli spazi e quindi le attività sanitarie nella Maternità di Careggi, consentendo una risposta sempre più adeguata e commisurata ai bisogni delle persone, anche a quelli più complessi. “Il Polo Fiorenza rappresenterà un’evoluzione di servizi attivi da anni in AOUC , dedicati alla salute della donna come il Rosa Point, nato per la cura delle pazienti con disabilità motoria e il servizio ASDI per le pazienti con disabilità Intellettiva, parti integranti del percorso PASS (Percorsi Assistenziali per Soggetti con bisogni Speciali) della Regione Toscana – afferma la dott.ssa Angelamaria Becorpi, Project Manager del percorso PASS – e, grazie all’attivazione di un team dedicato, all’allestimento dei nuovi ambienti e alla fornitura di nuove attrezzature ad hoc, garantirà la possibilità di svolgere prime visite, controlli, screening e approfondimenti diagnostici collegandosi a tutti i servizi già presenti”. Il progetto si pone un obiettivo ambizioso: garantire a tutte le donne, indipendentemente dalla loro condizione, un accesso equo e qualificato alle cure ostetrico-ginecologiche, superando barriere fisiche, culturali e comunicative. L’inaugurazione è stata anche l’occasione per presentare alla cittadinanza, agli operatori sanitari e alle istituzioni il frutto di una collaborazione virtuosa tra pubblico, privato sociale e Terzo Settore, a beneficio di una sanità più umana, più giusta e più vicina a chi ha maggiori fragilità.
