L’amministrazione comunale di Città di Castello tributerà un riconoscimento pubblico a Eleonora Valeri, l’infermiera tifernate del servizio 118 che il 10 agosto scorso, mentre era in vacanza, ha salvato la vita di una donna colta da malore sulla spiaggia di Torrette di Fano.

Mercoledì 27 agosto, alle ore 11.00 nella sala del consiglio comunale di piazza Gabriotti, il sindaco Luca Secondi accoglierà Eleonora con il vice sindaco Giuseppe Stefano Bernicchi e i componenti della giunta per consegnarle, a nome della comunità, una targa in segno di ammirazione e riconoscenza per il gesto straordinario di cui è stata protagonista. Sentimenti che l’amministrazione tifernate condividerà con il Comune di Fano, che sarà rappresentato nell’occasione dall’assessore Mauro Talamelli, e con l’Usl Umbria 1, che parteciperà con il direttore sanitario Ottavio Alessandro Nicastro e il direttore del presidio ospedaliero Alto Tevere Silvio Pasqui. “Eleonora ci ha resi davvero orgogliosi e merita un riconoscimento pubblico della comunità di Città di Castello, che ha apprezzato sinceramente il suo gesto speciale, compiuto con amore per il prossimo e professionalità”, sottolinea il sindaco Secondi. “La disponibilità a partecipare all’iniziativa dell’amministrazione comunale di Fano, che tiene molto a esprimere la propria riconoscenza ad Eleonora, ci fa particolarmente piacere, perché ci permette di rinsaldare un rapporto di amicizia tra le nostre città reso profondo e forte dalla frequentazione assidua da parte delle generazioni di tifernati che da decenni sono di casa in un territorio di mare bellissimo e accogliente”, evidenzia il primo cittadino. “La presenza della dirigenza dell’Usl Umbria 1, di cui siamo molto contenti – aggiunge Secondi – ci darà la possibilità di ribadire l’apprezzamento e la vicinanza dell’amministrazione comunale di Città di Castello a tutti gli operatori sanitari che nel nostro territorio lavorano con la professionalità, l’umanità e lo spirito di servizio testimoniati dal gesto di Eleonora”. Con la cerimonia di mercoledì 27 agosto, il sindaco Secondi darà seguito all’impegno assunto nell’immediatezza dell’episodio, quando aveva avuto modo di rivolgere pubblicamente a Eleonora Valeri il plauso dell’amministrazione e l’invito a un incontro in Comune, nel quale sottolineare con un encomio a nome della collettività l’importanza e l’esemplarità di ciò che aveva compiuto sulla spiaggia di Torrette di Fano
