 A Poppi prende il via il 50° Premio Casentino

POPPI – Sabato 13 e domenica 14 settembre 2025 la Badia di San Fedele a Poppi (AR) ospita la 50° edizione del Premio Casentino, un traguardo storico che conferma la vitalità e il prestigio di un concorso letterario e artistico tra i più longevi d’Italia. Un weekend alla Badia di San Fedele in compagnia di scrittori, poeti, giornalisti, scienziati, imprenditori e artisti da tutta Italia. I premi d’onore andranno ad Albano Bragagni, Roberto Burioni, Ferruccio de Bortoli, Ernesto Maria Ruffini e Farsettiarte

Due le giornate che vedranno sfilare nell’antica abbazia poppese, all’ombra del Castello dei Conti Guidi, scrittori, poeti, giornalisti, scienziati, imprenditori e artisti da tutta Italia. La cerimonia di consegna dei premi per i testi inediti, per le segnalazioni particolari e per le menzioni d’onore dei testi editi si terrà sabato 13 settembre dalle ore 16, mentre i premi per i testi editi delle sezioni “narrativa”, “poesia” e “saggistica” e i premi d’onore saranno consegnati domenica 14 settembre dalle ore 10. Anche quest’anno le massime onorificenze saranno conferite a personalità di grande rilievo. I riconoscimenti testimoniano la volontà del Premio Casentino di essere non soltanto un concorso letterario ma anche un osservatorio privilegiato sull’eccellenza italiana, capace di abbracciare mondi diversi e di metterli in dialogo. Il premio d’onore per il giornalismo sarà assegnato a Ferruccio de Bortoli, il premio d’onore per la medicina a Roberto Burioni, il premio d’onore per l’imprenditoria ad Albano Bragagni, il premio d’onore per l’economia a Ernesto Maria Ruffini e il premio d’onore per l’arte a Farsettiarte. I riconoscimenti consegnati nei due giorni non si limitano solo a diplomi e pergamene, ma includono opere create da quattro maestri indiscussi del panorama artistico nazionale come Vitaliano Angelini, Sergio Bizzarri, Mauro Capitani e Alessandro Nastasio. Il Premio Casentino fu istituito negli anni Quaranta del secolo scorso da personalità come Carlo Emilio Gadda, Nicola Lisi e Carlo Coccioli. Interrotto nel periodo bellico, fu riproposto negli anni Settanta per volontà del presidente del Centro culturale Michelangelo Silvio Miano. il concorso è promosso dal Centro culturale “Fonte Aretusa” presieduto da Maria Eugenia Miano, che ne ha saputo rinnovare lo spirito attualizzando una tradizione che continua ad attrarre voci e talenti. Le sezioni del concorso includono narrativa, saggistica, poesia, cinema e teatro, fino ad arrivare alle più recenti “Amica Foresta”, favorita dal Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, ed “Emma Perodi”, dedicata alla letteratura per l’infanzia e l’adolescenza, caldeggiata dal Centro Creativo Casentino e dal Parco Letterario Emma Perodi. Il Premio Casentino, presieduto dal professor Giorgio Calcagnini, magnifico rettore dell’Università di Urbino, si avvale di giurie tecniche di prestigio presiedute da Marino Biondi e Silvio Ramat (sezione Letteratura), Paolo Brunetti (sezione Medicina), Mauro Capitani (sezione Arte), Ivana Ciabatti (sezione Imprenditoria e Giornalismo) e Ilario Favaretto (sezione Economia).
