SAN GIOVANNI D’ASSO (11 Novembre 2025) – La 39esima edizione della Mostra Mercato del Tartufo Bianco delle Crete Senesi di San Giovanni d’Asso ha preso il via con la presentazione del progetto RE.DI. realizzato in collaborazione con la Regione Toscana e il taglio del nastro alla presenza del vice sindaco di Montalcino Angelo Braconi, il presidente del Municipio di San Giovanni d’Asso Angelo Cosseddu e il presidente dell’Associazione Tartufai Senesi Paolo Valdambrini. Insieme a loro, l’istituto Agrario di Montalcino B. Ricasoli, le istituzioni e gli imprenditori del territorio
Tanti gli appuntamenti che hanno caratterizzato la prima giornata di Mostra Mercato: il mercatino del tartufo e dei prodotti tipici, le dimostrazione di cerca in tartufaia, le mostre di pittura di Wang Yu e Flavio Ferdinando, le degustazione guidate e la gran cena di tartufo bianco al Castello di San Giovanni d’Asso. Tanti i visitatori, italiani e stranieri, che già nella prima giornata di manifestazione hanno animato il piccolo borgo illuminato dalla tepore autunnale. La Mostra Mercato continua fino a domenica 16 Novembre. Il programma prosegue venerdì 14 novembre, alle ore 10:30 presso il Municipio di San Giovanni d’Asso con la costituzione del Gruppo Europeo dei Tartufi e dei Tartuficoltori GETT: per un’alleanza internazionale per il futuro del tartufo, con relatori provenienti da tutta Europa. Un passo concreto verso la collaborazione tra le principali realtà tartuficole d’Europa, con l’obiettivo di promuovere la ricerca, la coltivazione, la tutela ambientale, la formazione e la valorizzazione culturale ed economica del tartufo, simbolo di eccellenza e biodiversità. Alla tavola rotonda interverranno i rappresentanti delle principali associazioni nazionali e federazioni europee: Paolo Valdambrini, Presidente dell’Associazione Tartufai Senesi, Gianfranco Berni, Presidente della Federazione Italiana Tartuficoltori Associati (F.I.T.A.), Daniel Brito Presidente della Federazione Spagnola dei Tartuficoltori, Alain Ambialet, Presidente della Federazione Francese dei Tartuficoltori, Michele Tournayre, Jean Marie Pechmajou, Sophie Bediou, Segreteria Federazione Francese dei Tartuficoltori, José Manuel Perez Presidente dell’Associazione Tartufai di Sarrion (Spagna), Fernando Martinez, Segreteria GETT e Italo Placidilli, Paolo Topi, Giancarlo Ricci, Vicepresidenti F.I.T.A (Paloma Lorente Interprete). Nella giornata di sabato 15 novembre invece tornano i mercatini di prodotti tipici con il pregiato tartufo bianco delle Crete Senesi e continueranno le iniziative: degustazioni, mostre d’arte, spettacoli, gran cene a base di tartufo bianco, fino ad arrivare a domenica 16 novembre quando la 39esima della Mostra Mercato del Tartufo Bianco delle Crete Senesi di San Giovanni d’Asso si concluderà con la consegna del premio internazionale ‘Tartufo della Pace’. Il premio quest’anno è stato conferito alla Fondazione Una Nessuna Centomila, a riceverlo la presidente della Giulia Minoli. La Fondazione Una nessuna centomila è la prima fondazione che sostiene i Centri Antiviolenza e promuove la prevenzione e il contrasto della violenza sulle donne, attraverso l’attivazione del mondo della musica, televisione, cinema e la cittadinanza tutta su un profondo cambiamento culturale che passa anche dall’educazione all’affettività nelle scuole. Giulia Minoli riceve il premio per l’impegno costante nella lotta contro la violenza di genere e allo stesso tempo che faccia da stimolo a continuare a lavorare per il bene comune e per la difesa dei diritti fondamentali delle persone.
