 CITTA DI CASTELLO – Continua la rincorsa alla testa della classifica del Città di Castello Pallavolo , che supera 3/0  25/18  25/22  25/11  una Sir Safety Perugia, arrivata al Pala Andrea Joan incompleta alla sfida con i biancorossi.  Assenti  entrambi i tecnici delle due  squadre , Enzo Sideri  per la squalifica sostituito dal tandem Ranieri Raffaella e Federico Rossi, Marco Taba per malattia al suo posto Andrea Moscioni e l’ex giocatore biancorosso Christian Cerrini.

Una gara dominata dai tifernati con un Lorenzo Panizzi 15 miglior realizzatore della serata e con  l’ex Sir Matteo Casella 6, autore di ottima prestazione, ma sono stati tutti i tifernati a dimostrarsi particolarmente attenti e concentrati , mentre nella Sir Safety  è stato Modugno l’ultimo ad arrendersi.  Primo set sempre in mano ai biancorossi con Panizzi dimostra subito di essere in una splendida serata  1/0  25/18. Secondo parziale sembra viaggiare sulla falsariga del primo set 13/9 . Improvvisamente un passaggio a vuoto dei padroni di casa e la Sir ribalta tutto 13/15 vantaggio che si amplia 17/20. Ranieri chiama tempo e al rientro in campo Rinaldo Conti  e Matteo Casella ribaltano con un parziale di 8/2  il set  con Città di Castello che scappa sul 2/0  25/22. Terzo set subito avanti la Sir 0/3 sembra l’inizio di una reazione consistente, invece  i tifernati sostenuti incessantemente dal  numeroso pubblico presente scappa via 19/7 con gli ospiti che escono dalla gara con il set  25/11 per il 3/0 finale.  Dopo le prime 8 giornate di campionato guidano  la classifica  la School Volley Perugia e l’Italchimici Foligno con 22 punti , seguite dal Città di Castello Pallavolo al 3 posto con 21 punti e dalla Sir Safety Perugia al 4 posto con 16  punti.  Prossimo turno di campionato Città di Castello Pallavolo atteso dalla difficile trasferta laziale ad Orte contro una formazione molto ambiziosa che cerca di risalire la testa della classifica dopo una partenza complicata. Un test molto impegnativo per i ragazzi biancorossi, che dovranno dimostrare di confermare quanto di buono messo in mostra in queste ultime settimane, sperando di che si svuoti anche l’infermeria che dopo Davide Stoppelli  per lui un lungo stop vede ai box anche  Enrico Marconi e con Gianmarco Cioffi fermato dalla febbre per tutta la settimana che tornerà a disposizione da lunedì alla ripresa degli allenamenti.
