Il programma Farwest andato in onda su Raitre il 28 novembre 2025, reperibile su RaiPlay, dal minuto 56:10 è stato dedicato a due vicende recenti della città di Firenze. Insomma, non si poteva non notare… Invece, il primo degli aspetti che il servizio Rai ha messo in evidenza sta proprio all’inizio del processo. La giunta di Matteo Renzi tenta per ben tre volte di vendere all’asta l’ex teatro, ribassando ogni volta la base d’asta. Ma non ci riesce, riuscendo invece a incappare in un accenno di conflitto di interessi, visto che si palesa in qualche modo la partecipazione di Tiziano Renzi nella cordata che tenta l’acquisizione. Solo quando viene mutata la destinazione d’uso dell’area, da culturale a residenziale, entra in gioco la Cassa Depositi e Prestiti che se lo aggiudica per una cifra inferiore a quella che era stata messa da ultimo a base d’asta. Qui sta la stranezza: se la destinazione d’uso è tale da consentire la valorizzazione dell’area, e per questo è stata variata, perché il prezzo di vendita risulta inferiore? Purtroppo il servizio, nonostante l’impegno degli autori, non riesce a dare una spiegazione del bizzarro risultato. Infine, fa la sua apparizione una “gola profonda”, un sedicente funzionario comunale che indica nel sindaco Nardella l’autorità che trattava direttamente con la nuova proprietà sugli ulteriori dettagli della realizzazione del complesso. Chiamato in causa direttamente, Nardella appare più che infastidito. Così come infastidita appare il sindaco attuale a cui viene chiesto conto della deroga al blocco degli affitti turistici concessa dalla sua giunta all’impresa.
Certamente il tutto attirerà ancora attenzioni e interrogativi, da più parti, e quindi non resta che avvertire di restare sintonizzati. “È necessario infatti che avvengano scandali, ma guai però all’uomo per causa del quale avviene lo scandalo”.
