È stato infatti pubblicato l’avviso, rivolto ad associazioni e società sportive, federazioni sportive, discipline sportive associate ed enti di promozione sportiva, per la riqualificazione e futura gestione gratuita dell’impianto di via Ferraris, posto sotto il cavalcavia della tangenziale.
L’amministrazione comunale mette a disposizione 50.000 euro per l’acquisto e la messa in opera di nuove strutture. Infatti, più che riqualificare l’esistente, siamo di fronte alla necessità di ricostruire qualcosa di nuovo, visto che attualmente lo skatepark è dotato di attrezzature insufficienti e inadeguate. Il vincitore dell’avviso, dunque, si aggiudicherà la somma e diventerà gestore dello skatepark per 5 anni, fatta salva la possibilità di investire risorse proprie aggiuntive e chiedere un numero maggiore di anni di gestione, fino a 25, così come previsto dal regolamento comunale degli impianti sportivi”. Commenta così l’assessore Federico Scapecchi il nuovo provvedimento consultabile su https://www.comune.arezzo.it/bandoastaconcorso/avviso-pubblico-manifestazione-interesse-lindividuazione-associazioni-societa-0 “La scelta di mantenere lo skatepark nella sua area ‘storica’ anziché localizzarlo altrove – continua Scapecchi – deriva da una precisa volontà: venire incontro alle richieste di tanti sportivi e appassionati dello skate, dei pattini, della bmx e in generale dei cosiddetti sport di strada che nel frattempo sono divenuti anche discipline olimpiche. La particolare posizione conferisce all’impianto un riparo dalla pioggia e, nelle stagioni più calde, dal sole: tali vantaggi sarebbero venuti meno in una qualsiasi altra area scoperta. Ultimo ma non ultimo, abbiamo già portato a termine per lo skatepark, tra il 2021 e il 2022, un investimento di circa 100.000 per la sua messa in sicurezza e non potevamo permetterci una scelta che andasse in contraddizione con questo tipo di politica. L’obiettivo è di concludere l’iter di aggiudicazione entro la fine dell’anno, in maniera tale da dare la possibilità al nuovo gestore di iniziare al più presto i lavori e riaprire, almeno in parte, già nei primi mesi del 2023”. La scadenza per presentare la manifestazione d’interesse è le 13 di lunedì 21 novembre. Per poter partecipare alla procedura è necessario effettuare un sopralluogo presso l’impianto, da richiedere all’Ufficio sport entro le 12 di lunedì 7 novembre. È infine possibile chiedere chiarimenti fino alle 9 di lunedì 14 novembre alla mail sportgiovani@comune.arezzo.it, domande e risposte saranno pubblicate in forma anonima e sotto forma di FAQ nel sito del Comune.
