PROVINCIA DI AREZZO E GUARDIA DI FINANZA SIGLANO UN PROTOCOLLO D’INTESA PER GARANTIRE UN PRESIDIO DI LEGALITA’ A TUTELA DELLE RISORSE DEL PIANO NAZIONALE DI RIPRESA E RESILENZA. Firmato oggi, 13 maggio 2022, tra la Presidente della Provincia di Arezzo, Silvia Chiassai Martini, ed il Comandante Provinciale della Guardia di Finanza di Arezzo, Colonnello Adriano Lovito, il protocollo d’intesa per prevenire, ricercare e contrastare le violazioni in danno degli interessi economico-finanziari dell’Unione europea, dello Stato, delle Regioni e degli Enti locali, connessi alle misure di sostegno e finanziamento del PNRR.
Si tratta della prima intesa siglata in Toscana tra un Ente provinciale e la Guardia di Finanza. Silvia Chiassai Martini Presidente della Provincia di Arezzo dichiara: “Ringrazio il Colonnello Adriano Lovito del Comando Provinciale della Guardia di Finanza per la stima e la fiducia dimostrata verso l’Ente che presiedo. La Provincia di Arezzo nell’ottica della collaborazione istituzionale nata con la Guardia di Finanza è pronta ad offrire tutto il supporto necessario, per prevenire e segnalare illeciti e violazioni, dando così concreta attuazione alle linee guida stabilite a livello europeo e nazionale per vigilare le delicate fasi di attuazione del PNRR. Con l’intesa firmata oggi, le parti si impegnano ad assicurare un flusso reciproco di notizie e di dati utili, al fine di una maggiore efficacia nel perseguimento dei rispettivi fini istituzionali, in modo tale da rafforzare la tutela della legalità dell’azione amministrativa relativa all’utilizzo di risorse pubbliche, prime fra tutte quelle del Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza. La Provincia di Arezzo segnalerà gli interventi, i realizzatori o gli esecutori che presentino particolari elementi di rischio, affinché la Guardia di Finanza possa svolgere autonome attività a contrasto di eventuali abusi o illeciti”. Il protocollo siglato resterà in vigore fino al completamento del PNRR e, comunque, non oltre il 31 dicembre 2026. Il Col. Adriano Lovito, Comandante Provinciale della Guardia di Finanza di Arezzo, “nel ringraziare la Presidente per l’opportunità offerta, conferma che la sinergia interistituzionale che sarà realizzata con la sottoscrizione dell’intesa si prospetta di sicura efficacia e permetterà di rafforzare l’attività di analisi e di controllo posta in essere dalla Guardia di Finanza, quale forza di polizia economico-finanziaria. L’attuazione del PNRR prevede un impegno sfidante per gli enti territoriali, chiamati ad un importante sforzo per la gestione della risorse più cospicue mai destinate alla spesa pubblica. Secondo tale prospettiva, le informazioni e le notizie circostanziate che perverranno dall’Amministrazione provinciale contribuiranno ad orientare l’azione del Corpo, per prevenire e reprimere ogni forma di irregolarità nella gestione e nell’utilizzo delle risorse pubbliche, su tutte quelle destinate al PNRR. Nella missione istituzionale delle Fiamme Gialle, assumono primaria importanza la lotta agli sprechi di denaro pubblico – che danneggiano la crescita e lo sviluppo del Paese – e l’attività di contrasto all’infiltrazione delle organizzazioni criminali, attratte dalle ingenti risorse disponibili”.
