In cinque intensissimi giorni i partecipanti hanno potuto confrontarsi sui temi dell’insegnamento della religione e delle sfide che questo comporta soprattutto in un periodo contrassegnato da significativi conflitti, anche alle porte dell’Europa. Ragazzi e docenti hanno incontrato importanti realtà dell’Alto Tevere, a dimostrazione della ricchezza educativa che esprime il nostro territorio: l’idea simbolica di remare assieme per portare la barca in una direzione comune, promossa assieme al Canoa Club di Città di Castello; la scoperta della città attraverso la guida dei ragazzi con disabilità organizzata dalla Cooperativa Sociale La Rondine; l’incontro spirituale con i luoghi simbolici della religione in città guidata dal terapista teatrale Stefano Francoia in collaborazione con Don Nicola Testamigna nella Chiesa di San Domenico; il contributo dell’Associazione Comunità Educante Alto Tevere al multiculturalismo, presentata dal presidente Massimo Belardinelli. Oltre al significativo evento “Parole di Pace”, la Conferenza finale della Scuola si è tenuta alle Officine della Lana. Coordinata dalla resposabile dell’Unità ricerca e cooperazione europea della Fondazione Maria Rita Bracchini e alla presenza del Presidente della G.O. Bufalini Giovanni Granci, la conferenza ha visto la presentazione dei lavori delle 40 scuole europee coinvolte nel progetto LIFE TWO. Oltre ad esperti e professori delle Università irlandesi, cipriote, spagnole, bulgare, turche, spagnole e greche, era presente, anche se in modalità on-line per ragioni di covid, la celebre teologa olandese Prof. Monique Groeneboer. “Un confronto aperto fra varie religioni” ha detto Maria Rita Bracchini “senza pregiudizi e con grande spessore culturale”. Tutto lo staff della Fondazione è stato coinvolto nell’organizzazione della Scuola che ha visto la logistica curata da Paola Angelini e Silvia Fanti, che si è occupata anche della diffusione delle attività sui principali canali di comunicazione; i laboratori sono stati introdotti da Valeria Puletti; Virginia Marconi ha seguito le relazioni con i partner, i docenti ed i ragazzi; Federico Brozzetti si è occupato degli aspetti tecnici. Hanno partecipato alle varie iniziative, a nome dell’Amministrazione comunale, il Sindaco Luca Secondi e gli assessori Letizia Guerri, Michela Botteghi e Benedetta Calagreti. Per quanto riguarda il futuro delle attività lanciate durante la Scuola, il primo importante risultato si è registrato nel corso degli incontri bilaterali tra le delegazioni: le rappresentanze turche e cipriote hanno sottoscritto un accordo di cooperazione per la promozione dei diritti dei ragazzi. “E’ un segnale che parte dalla Scuola di Città di Castello e che può arrivare lontano” ha dichiarato Fabrizio Boldrini, Direttore della Fondazione e responsabile scientifico della scuola, soddisfatto per l’esito degli incontri da lui coordinati “anche se può apparire puramente simbolico tale risultato risulta senz’altro significativo, considerate le relazioni tese tra i due paesi e considerato il fatto che una parte dell’isola di Cipro è tuttora occupata dalla Turchia”. Il presidente Angelo Capecci, a nome del Consiglio della Fondazione, ha espresso piena soddisfazione per gli esiti conseguiti.
