In città si sono accreditate per il progetto TempoBello 57 associazioni e il numero complessivo ottimale è calcolato in circa 2.000 bambini e bambine, questo per garantire che la proposta sia qualitativamente adeguata ai bisogni e ai diritti dei bambini che in estate hanno chiedono risposte aggregative vere. Del resto, non credo che ci siano famiglie che vogliono mandare i propri figli in strutture non accreditate o pollaio o che non si rendano conto che esiste un tetto numerico oltre il quale il numero dei bambini, correlato allo spazio e alla quantità di educatori non è in sicurezza. A proposito di numeri, i nostri sono davvero da record: il Comune di Arezzo, già dal primo giorno, sostiene oltre l’80% delle famiglie con un contributo di 150 euro a figlio. È evidente che siamo disponibili e pronti a fare altri investimenti ma deve essere chiaro che i buoni messi a disposizione non possono essere superiori ai posti disponibili per partecipare alle attività estive. Questo boom di richieste dimostra la necessità che oltre ai Comuni si muova anche lo Stato. Ormai è intollerabile che le scuole restino chiuse tre mesi. I Comuni fanno la loro parte, nel caso aretino copriamo praticamente il 100% delle disponibilità ma il modello italiano, scuole chiuse in estate, non è più tollerabile. Nessun servizio pubblico resta interdetto per così tanto tempo. Per questo ho chiesto un incontro urgente al Ministro Bianchi che è uomo di buon senso. Sono certa che capirà che lasciare soli famiglie e Comuni e mettere in ferie la scuola per 90 giorni di fila non è più possibile.
