La regione toscana ha approvato il progetto realizzato dal comune di Sansepolcro riguardante la ristrutturazione dell’antistadio comunale stanziando 356.400 euro cofinanziati dalle casse comunali con 40mila euro.
I lavori di recupero consisteranno nel ripristino e messa in sicurezza di tutto il campo sintetico di gioco che sarà interamente sostituito, la realizzazione di un nuovo blocco spogliatoi che renderanno indipendente l’impianto sportivo e l’installazione di una tribuna per il pubblico. L’attuale impianto di illuminazione della struttura subirà un importante efficientamento energetico e vedrà l’installazione di nuovi corpi illuminanti a led che permetteranno di ridurre il consumo di energia elettrica. Sarà inoltre ripristinata anche l’intera recinzione del campo. “Il comune di Sansepolcro ha molto sperato nell’approvazione di questo bando regionale che – spiega l’assessore Riccardo Marzi – è fondamentale per poter rimettere in sicurezza la struttura. In considerazione del fatto che l’importo finanziato dalla regione non copre interamente i costi di ristrutturazione il comune metterà a disposizione altri fondi che permetteranno di avere un impianto sicuro e maggiormente fruibile, non solo dagli sportivi, ma anche dagli spettatori grazie alle tribune che verranno installate nell’area adiacente al campo da gioco.” “Un risultato davvero importante per la nostra città che ha una forte vocazione sportiva e vede ogni settimana tanti amanti del calcio e del calcetto percorrere il perimetro di questo impianto che necessitava da tempo di una consistente ristrutturazione – ha dichiarato il sindaco Fabrizio Innocenti -. E’ proprio di pochi giorni fa la pubblicazione del rapporto della regione toscana che sottolinea come gli sportivi toscani siano pienamente attivi. E’ dunque fondamentale che anche la regione faccia la propria parte investendo in questo settore. Dal canto nostro siamo felici di poter dare ai nostri piccoli e grandi calciatori un impianto riammodernato e sicuro.”
