L’amministrazione comunale ha investito 177 mila euro per i lavori necessari negli istituti primari
di Cerbara, San Secondo, Riosecco e negli istituti secondari di primo grado Gregorio da Tiferno di Trestina e Giovanni Pascoli nel capoluogo. “Le opere già in corso si concluderanno entro il periodo di sospensione estiva dell’attività didattica per consentire la ripresa delle lezioni nei termini previsti”, sottolinea l’assessorato ai Lavori Pubblici, spiegando che “i lavori sono propedeutici al rinnovo dei Certificati di Prevenzione Incendi degli edifici scolastici interessati da parte del Comando Provinciale dei Vigili del Fuoco”. “Sull’edilizia scolastica non lasciamo nulla al caso, in coerenza con l’obiettivo di garantire condizioni ottimali per la didattica che l’amministrazione ha sempre perseguito a tutela del diritto allo studio dei giovani e della serenità delle famiglie”, puntualizza l’assessorato ai Lavori Pubblici nel chiarire che i cantieri comportano un ventaglio di interventi finalizzati a migliorare gli standard di sicurezza già garantiti negli istituti. Accanto all’esecuzione delle opere edilizie necessarie, negli ambienti scolastici viene infatti integrata la cartellonistica di sicurezza, viene adeguata l’impiantistica idrica antincendio ed elettrica, vengono rinnovati i sistemi di segnalazione degli incendi. I lavori sono affidati all’impresa ED.I.TEC. s.r.l. di Cannara per un importo contrattuale pari ad 177.131,92 euro, mentre i servizi di ingegneria e architettura sono stati curati dallo Studio STIG di Chiusi Scalo, in provincia di Siena.
