CITTA’ DI CASTELLO – Domenica 28 agosto, alle ore 22.00, in Piazza Matteotti/Gildoni sarà effettuata l’estrazione della tradizionale tombola delle fiere di San Bartolomeo. Si tratta della ventisettesima edizione organizzata dall’associazione di volontariato “Gli amici del Cuore – Cardiopatici Alta valle del Tevere” che, tra l’altro, conserva e utilizza l’urna per l’estrazione e il tabellone segna numeri d’epoca. La tombola di San Bartolomeo è una manifestazione, prevalentemente folcloristica, molto sentita dai cittadini castellani (nei tempi andati portava migliaia di persone in piazza) e della quale possediamo inequivoche testimonianze scritte risalenti al diciannovesimo secolo.
L’associazione “Gli Amici del Cuore”, da ventisette anni, dunque, ha recuperato una consuetudine che si era, per varie ragioni, spiacevolmente perduta. Dopo due anni di forzata interruzione a causa dell’emergenza sanitaria, il nuovo direttivo dell’associazione, presieduto da Francesco Grilli, ripropone la tombola con l’impegno e la determinazione usuali. Anzi, si tratterà di un’occasione propizia per ricordare lo storico presidente Antonio Fiorucci e il pittore-vignettista Baldino Mariucci, purtroppo scomparsi, ma comunque stabilmente presenti nei nostri cuori. “Il ricavato delle vendite sarà, come sempre, devoluto in favore dei servizi cardiologici, per cui confidiamo in un’incoraggiante risposta da parte della città e del comprensorio alto tiberino”. L’estrazione sarà preceduta dall’intrattenimento musicale dell’inconfondibile gruppo dialettale “Paguro Bernardo” e dalla gioiosa animazione per bambini a cura del “Baby circus Manuel events” coordinato da Cristina Pieroni.
